  1. I've never posted my drawings before because I couldn't figure it out. Well, I have now. This isn't DC drawings, but they're my style. I'm just curious what you guys think... This is a typical girl I'd draw. This one is better than the others though. This one shows emotion... Trying out eye styles in the beginning... It's the one I use now. I made it when I was in Art Club. Another girl... Pretty decent drawing. So, what did you think? My style is kinda off, but... I try. Most of my friends are REALLY good at drawing, and I suck in comparison. Oh well. Sorry about the quality...

  2. Oh, and did Satayoshi leave for the bathroom by any chance? EDIT: Gosh, I'm having so much trouble with the dying message! EDIT2: Oh yeah, one more question! How did the culprit enter the victim's room? Did the culprit have a copy of the key, or was the lock tampered with, or . . . ? EDIT3: Summary of case for all you detectives out there . . .

  3. I think main thing holding Shinichi back from telling Ran is that he doesn't want to get her involved. Shinichi thinks Ran would want to help him and put herself in danger if she knew what he was doing. One other thing worth mentioning is that one of Shinichi's consistent character flaws is that he doesn't trust others and he doesn't like to tell them what his plans are. This caused several serious problems, perhaps most notably when he didn't tell Agasa that he was suspicious of Jodie and Araide, so Agasa let them in his house which enabled them to plant bugs and trap Conan. In the original Japanese, there was a special note that in English "boy" could mean teen or child. Also there was no live broadcast, Shinichi made that up on the spot.Conan probably could have been okay if he stayed put, and when Ran found him he lied and said "Shinichi went off that-a-way!" However, he made a poor decision by running which made people notice him. Ran is expecting to find Shinichi, but if she found Conan in the police box instead, she will wonder why he was running away from Big Ben, which is where Shinichi was supposed to be. As Conan said it might make Ran suspicious. Conan also could have tried for the lie that he was chasing after Shinichi, but that might make Ran wonder why the people she asked didn't say they saw two Japanese boys. In short, Conan screwed up doubly, first the gaffe on the phone, and second by running away.

  6. Case File 4: At 9:47 pm on August 1st, 2011, a staff member at the Nagashima Hotel entered room 2311 to discover its occupant, Watanabe Hikomaru-san, dead in the bathtub. the head of Satayoshi Gaming Company was killed by either a knife wound likely inflicted by a thin woman or was drowned by a large man whose handprints were on his neck. Three pairs of people were found who match the descriptions. The suspects are: - Ryoko Makoto-san and Ryoko Sera-san- the victim's friends. Makoto-kun was close to the victim, and often joined him for Mahjong on the weekends. Sera-chan, Makoto's wife, had befriended the victim in college through their photography class. Motive- Ryoko-kun recently lost 50,000 yen to Hikomaru-san in a game of Mahjong, which he had needed to bet in order to purchase an anniversary gift for his wife. Sera-san heard complaints on some of her husband's less-than-sober days about the possibility of Watanabe-san cheating in high stakes games. Alibi: Both were playing chess in the game room from 8 to 9 pm. The murder occurred at about 8:20, and neither person left at any point except to the restroom for ten minutes. - Chiran Tane-san and Chiran Nikari-san- new acquaintances of the victim. The siblings work at the same company as he did and met him on the business trip they were all on when he died. Motive- Tane-kun had known the victim in elementary school, although after which they never saw each other until now. Hikomaru-san used to tease and bother Chiran until he was transferred to another school. Upon meeting again, though, the victim apologized for what he had done in the past. Nikari-chan, one year her brother's senior, heard about his tormentor for years. Upon meeting the man, she insisted he apologize. Alibi- They were together in the bar from 7 until Nikari took her drunk brother back to his room at 8:45, and neither one was remembered having left the room. - Satayoshi Haru-san- the victim's cousin, and Kichida Amaterasu-san- Satayoshi's girlfriend. Motive- Haru-kun's father chose Hikomaru-san as successor to his company, while Satayoshi himself became a game designer. He enjoys his work, however. Amaterasu-san was denied a job with the company because it would be considered using family influence. Even so, she has remained interested in a career in the gaming business, and is still trying to get hired. Alibis- Satayoshi-kun was at a designers' meeting until 8:50, whereupon he returned to his room and went to sleep. Kichida-chan was at the bar with Nikari and Tane from 7:30 to 9:00, when she returned to the room she shares with her boyfriend. She was seen leaving to use the bathroom once, for about fifteen minutes. Clues and Facts: Believed to be the victim's dying message is a tile on the bathroom wall with a circle of blood in it. (The victim's fingerprints were found in the pattern) There were also the Kanji symbols chi, kaku, and onna. Nikari got mad a Haru-san when he called out to her, mistaking her for his girlfriend. Makoto-san lost at chess when he used several poor moves after his trip to the restroom. He nearly went to bed early for his stomach ache. Tane-san, Nikari-san, and Kichida-san all said that they fell asleep at some point. Tane-kun could hardly walk straight when he was called. Kichida-san had to be woken by the bartender after her two companions left. Based on the evidence, the victim was still alive after being submerged in the tub, and bled to death from his wound. The victim had played Majhong with Satayoshi-san earlier in the day, and explained the tiles to him. Okay, this one is going to be tough. Remember that the two don't have to be traveling together to have both attacked the victim. Good luck.

  9. His tricks are awesome!!!! XD XD XD Well~ if you think the tricks are not awesome, why dont you think of a much more awesome trick?! LOL Magic is about tricks When they are revealed to you~ You will think "Hey this is soo easy..." But if you don't know it, you can guess for all you want but you will not be sure. That is the part about magic, and that is why magicians never reveal their tricks to anyone.

  12. You know what I'm going to treat this like an actual case, and investigate instead of speculate. How long does it take to get from each location a suspect was to where the victim was found? Are these the kanji you wanted? ち書く女. Does the bartender remember about what time the three people fell asleep? And when they woke up? So far I would say Ryoko Makoto-kun is suspicious because he was flustered after he came back from the bathroom, because he started to make bad moves in the chess match. Also Kichida Amaterasu because she was the only one you said had left the bar.

  15. I have looked into both because I have heard both of them before. The 1st has been attributed to the Volume 19: The Case Closed Casebook, but unlike the "boss's name is somewhere in the manga" interview, I never got a quoted source for it. For 2. I first saw it here, but never got a source for it, but maybe this should narrow down places it could come from? At this point it seems like a dropped plot unless Gosho wants to use it after the Bourbon arc.

  16. ^ yyyeeeeaaaaaAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Woo! I got it right at last! Okay, for the next case, I'd like it if there were multiple culprits. They could be collaborating, or they could be acting independently, whatever you prefer. I feel like we need more multi-culprit cases in the mystery genre!

  19. There are people who are fanatics, for all you do in this life or in work, school, religion, or other activities as sportsmen, musicians, artists, writers, etc.. These people not sharing their time, they stressed and no time to make friends, and even to have a loving relationship or family. Fanaticism is an illusion that leads us to ignorance and stress. Stress can even cause us physical and mental problems. It takes balance, sometimes we have to stop and reflect ... Other people become vain and selfish, they live according to the appearance and power; feel very important and sometimes irreplaceable. They like to have and to be fawning, and give much value to material goods. Are cold and calculating. Sometimes they are dishonest, because they want to get rich anyway. And lose good friends for money and greed for power. For friendship is not bought. Such people forget that everything in life is illusion, that there comes a point where you have to stop because the body can not take it anymore, and that the metabolism is no longer the same and that the hormones are shrinking. And the mind gets tired and the whole body. Finally, the age will come, and no longer has time for new friends and old friends and relatives go off to a better, or better, are dying. And if we do not make friends when there is still time at the end of our lives we will be alone and rejected and forgotten in nursing homes. In the world we live in have to have time for a good friendship, and friendship not only between friends but between a couple and relatives. Friendship is synonymous with true love. Friendship happens when we stop thinking of ourselves and come to think of another, in their problems, their difficulties etc.. If anyone can help why not help? The people we help, one day will recognize. And when we need, they will help us for sure!!! I think I better stop writing! I wrote a lot!
