Hello back! :)

It's great to see another soul around here! ;)

In any case, welcome to you Conan fan! I really appreciate your comments. And yes, I would also definitely like some help with the wiki. The more, the merrier. :P

My main objective at the moment is to focus on the Characters section. Then, work on the episodes, season by season. I'll eventually come up with a task list of some sort. And don't hesitate to provide ideas and/or feedback. They are most welcome! Anyway, see you around and I hope you have fun here! :) --Maurice 04:46, 11 May 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, each episode will have its own page. This way we can provide as many details as possible. And details are good! ^^ --Maurice 06:10, 11 May 2009 (UTC)
Mm, I was thinking of the Japanese name of the episode as the page name just like it is in Wikipedia for famous series like Lost, House, etc... For example, for the first episode, it would be Roller Coaster Murder Case. How does that sound? --Maurice 06:29, 11 May 2009 (UTC)
Sounds good for the English redirects. I'll also try to work on the InfoBox for the character's page whenever I can. --Maurice 17:34, 11 May 2009 (UTC)
Mm, not yet but feel free to go ahead and create the Sandbox page or make one for you: User:CarpetCrawler/Sandbox. ^_^ --Maurice 18:30, 11 May 2009 (UTC)
That template looks good. As for creating templates here, just create a page that starts with "Template:". In our current case here, it would be something like Template:InfoBox Episode. Check out Category:Templates for some examples of templates we already have here. --Maurice 03:53, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
It's alright. Just get some rest and get better! :) See you around! --Maurice 14:44, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
Sounds good! Thanks. How are you feeling btw? --Maurice 17:14, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
Good to hear about your health. And sure. :) --Maurice 01:20, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

Hey!

I'm doing good! What about you? As for help regarding the wiki, it's pretty tough finding people who know (and are interesting in) DC and are also willing to edit a wiki. I actually even posted some classifieds a while ago but no one replied. I'll try doing it again sometime soon.. Any luck on your side? --Maurice 11:52, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

Help!

It's alright. I'll take a look. ^^ --Maurice 14:53, 6 June 2009 (UTC)

Sounds good! I was trying to think of the best way to display the list of episodes for a given season. Hopefully, I'll come up with a template soon enough for that one. --Maurice 23:19, 6 June 2009 (UTC)

Episodes

Thanks! :)
Regarding the "solved by" thing, what I was thinking of at the time was that we should show both the "proxy" and the actual one who solved the case. Something along the line of "Kogoro Mouri (via Conan)". Because in some of the episodes, the case gets solved by both Heiji and Conan. In some others, by Shinichi and in one episode (I read about), Kogoro actually solved one! :o
So, showing both would be a great way to help the reader instantly understand the role the protagonists had in that one episode.

Movie infobox

Hey! Yeah, sorry for the delay. I'm usually too tired during the week, when I come back home, to do anything much.. :/
But, yeah, I've seen your changes. Good work! :)
Just one little note: Since we already have InfoBox_Char and InfoBox_TV, it would be good to keep it standard and call the movie one InfoBox_Movie (instead of Infobox_Movie). Also, wherever there's the "Case solved by" field, we could make a link to the one(s) who solved the case. Example: Kogoro Mouri (via Conan). Also notice that "via" should start with a small "v". I know, lots of small details lol. It's just that I like to follow standards, which is also part of my job as a web developer. :D
In any case, keep up the great work! I really appreciate it. I'll try to help out whenever I get some time. ^^ --Maurice 14:36, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

Ooh, that's a good find regarding the logo. It looks like it happens whenever there's another "/" after "wiki/". The logo is most likely being pointed to from a relative path and the slash makes it look like there's a sub-folder. Which means the logo cannot be found. I'll definitely fix it during my next batch of updates/fixes. And great work with the episodes! As for Sango Yokomizo, it's really awesome! I'm quite impressed actually. I love how we've been pouring in our own content instead of just copy/pasting text from other sources like Wikipedia (we still do but we don't just do that). That's definitely good! :)
In any case, keep it up! ^^ --Maurice 01:10, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

Images

Sure, sounds great! As for the 60px and 100px, they're all pretty much ok anyway. The only ones that kind of concern me are the real cheesy ones, like the ones for Mitsuhiko, Genta, Inspector Megure and Shiratori in Characters. They look, mm, what's the word, too simplistic? But I guess we'll eventually change those at some point in any case.

And that would really be awesome if you're able to get in touch with those people that work on the english Wiki! Good luck! :P

P.S: I also added a note to the characters page's talk page regarding the Law Enforcement being broken down into parts.

Voices

No prob. Soon I'll probly do pages for the actors themselves (though just the Japanese) and I'll be sure to include a lot of interesting trivia about them (like connections to othe Conan voice actors and whatnot). NakagawaRyou 04:31, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

Sorry, Apart from a few early episodes and all the movies and OVAS I have only read the manga, and Tome-san only appears in the anime (possibly the only recurring character like that, as most other anime original characters ended up in the manga, like Takagi and Shiratori). NakagawaRyou 01:03, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
A month or so ago I was trying to find out which episode Yamamura first appeared in because I wanted to here how his voice actor portrayed him... yeah, I reeeeally like voice acting... and I came across this site. NakagawaRyou 02:47, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, but I might contribute other stuff too, especially since this wiki is still trying to get off the ground it seems. Sorry, I wasn't fond at all of the English dub. Mainly because of the name changes (I'm one of those fans, although I'm usually reasonable about it), but also I couldn't stand Kogoro's english voice... like, at all. As a guy I don't want to say this but it's the only word I can think of that describes it best: I think Yokomizo is... cute. He seems so intimidating but he backs down as soon as he upsets someone. I thought it was hilarious when Sonoko's grandpa was trying to catch Kaitou Kid and she wanted to be the bate so Kid and Makoto could fight over her. I haven't finished the manga yet (at chapter 518 or so) so I've only seen Eisuke once, but I loved what I saw. NakagawaRyou 04:41, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

Characters

That works too, I was just on a role last night (or this morning rather), so I ended up doing that. I added everyone's first appearance by the way (even Tome-san's). Doing ages and other infobox stuff now. NakagawaRyou 18:06, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

It's a special feature in the manga volumes, containing a little bit of info on a fictional detective. The latest volume apparently featured Zenigata from Lupin III. NakagawaRyou 18:13, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
Might start adding voice cast info for all the episodes (found a great, but Japanese, site with all this stuff here. NakagawaRyou 18:21, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

Next Conan's Hint/Infobox

What do you want to do about it? Should it be included in the episode infobox or should it have it's own little box with a screencap? NakagawaRyou 18:59, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

Or "Filler" or "Anime Original" (as they say in Japan), but you should also maybe get a filler icon for the plot legend. NakagawaRyou 16:14, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
Cool, and I'll probly be doing more voice actor articles soon, as well. NakagawaRyou 16:17, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
Unfortunately, no. NakagawaRyou 16:21, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

Conan

Great job on Eri's page! :) It's looking pretty good! As for Conan, sure go ahead. Thanks! --Maurice 00:15, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

Azusa

According to the site I've been referencing [1], she appears in eps. 207, 220, 350, 351, 425, 438, 464, 477, and also 152 as a nameless but similar character. NakagawaRyou 04:42, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

Check out my Yaiba stuff... also, I made more character categories. NakagawaRyou 05:04, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

OVA 9

Just checked out the ending credits on youtube to doublecheck, he's not. Heiji and Kazuha are, and I forgot about them. NakagawaRyou 05:44, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

Yay, Eisuke!

Cool, I started adding the kanjis too. NakagawaRyou 06:11, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

We'll see, I'm more interested in doing Takagi's article for now, really, since it's mostly blank and he's one of my favorite characters. I'm also still trying to do the Yaiba character pages. If I had pics, I'd start doing pages for Okiya and Matsuda. NakagawaRyou 06:30, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

Music

Yes, this indeed needs to be done. I've also had the same thought a while ago. Just never had a chance to get to it. I guess I could add it to the sidebar for now. And feel free to start adding to it. ^^ --Maurice 20:34, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

Shiratori

It's no problem, I had literally just gotten to that point in the manga and was adding as I was reading. NakagawaRyou 19:49, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

Uehara

I say Uehara, because A.) she only married him to discover the truth behind the town hero's (can't remember his name) death, and B.) since she has returned to the force, Yamato still refers to her as Uehara. NakagawaRyou 16:15, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, I just finished the manga, too, that was only a couple of months ago that they returned. By the way, we should prob'ly make pages for Kamen Yaiba and Gomera (not necessarily now, but eventually) since their shows and movies appear so frequently in the plot. NakagawaRyou 16:21, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

Conan page and Shiho page

Remember when we were talking about making a seperate page for Conan? Well, when we were discussing it, you suggested doing a seperate page for Shiho Miyano as well. I forgot to say I don't think that's necessary. While Conan and Shinichi can be considered 2 seperate characters because of the flashbacks to Shinichi's past and the fact that Conan uses a different personality and what not, There's really no difference in personality with Ai and Shiho, not to mention the fact that we only ever really see her as Ai. Just my 2 cents on the matter that I forgot to add.

Also, when did Conan use Eri to solve a case? Was it in the anime, cuz i don't remember that happening in the manga? NakagawaRyou 03:10, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

Hmm, yer right, it might've been Maurice, my bad. Did you see tha page I made for Anokata? NakagawaRyou 14:23, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
Plans? Right now there's mainly voice actor and Yaiba stuff. Since you seem more familiar with the anime, I'll prob'ly keep adding manga related info to it as well (such as I just did with Gin). I do, however, have a prior engagement with an online friend to help translate Sakigake!! Otokojuku, which I'll prob'ly get preoccupied with frequently. NakagawaRyou 06:00, 29 August 2009 (UTC)

Manga appearances

It's no biggie. Btw, with manga appearances are we going by chapters or just cases? NakagawaRyou 22:41, 3 September 2009 (UTC)

Either way is fine with me, I just want to know so I can add Yamato's. NakagawaRyou 22:55, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
No, I don't, sorry. Oh! I got an Edogawa Rampo book, a Kogoro Akechi story even, called Black Lizard. Been wanting to read something by him for awhile now. Hey, since we go by the western naming order (Shinichi Kudo rather than Kudo Shinichi), why didn't we do that with the Rampo Edogawa article? Me, I personally prefer the Japanese order, but since we're using the western order, shouldn't we do so with all articles? NakagawaRyou 23:07, 3 September 2009 (UTC)

Genta's Dad

He's only appeared once so far in the manga, but he was part of the plot, a case where three men named Kojima might be the culprit in a murder. Like I say, he's an "Edokko", a Child of Tokyo, and like an Edokko he has a high sense of honor and a short temper, I took an instant liking to him (after his identity was revealed). Here's his introductory story if you want to read it (Kojima Contest Murder Case). NakagawaRyou 04:56, 5 September 2009 (UTC)

Work

Did some work on Shuichi Akai, Jodie Starling (about a week ago), Ai Haibara, Hiroshi Agasa, added more character page suggestions, and also started adding how many openings the characters appear in. NakagawaRyou 22:27, 7 September 2009 (UTC)

Akemi

No prob, I also did some more work on Akai. NakagawaRyou 03:37, 10 September 2009 (UTC)

Kogoro

That is terrible, but when I saw that you added something to Kamiya's page with "NOOOOO", for a second I feared much worse. I'm going to look into this more, though. NakagawaRyou 03:30, 20 September 2009 (UTC)

Kobayashi-sensei

That's cool. She and Shiratori finally hooked up, btw. She made him a bento lunch for work, and now Takagi wishes Sato would do that for him. NakagawaRyou 23:39, 4 October 2009 (UTC)

Suspicious Ran

Do you remember each time Ran was suspicious of Conan? I wanted to add it to List of characters who know Conan's identity. NakagawaRyou 06:01, 7 October 2009 (UTC)

Cool, thanks! Do you also happen to remember which case it was when Kogoro was VERY briefly suspicious? NakagawaRyou 06:19, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
Ah, I found it, it was Ep. 38 Akaoni Village Fire Festival Murder Case. The Murder Weapon episode you mentioned was filler, so I wouldn't know either. NakagawaRyou 07:01, 7 October 2009 (UTC)

Genji

Woot, Genta's dad finally makes his anime debut! When you get a pic of him, please get one of him without the glasses. NakagawaRyou 23:14, 7 October 2009 (UTC)

Music infobox

Done! :) Let me know if you think some more fields should be added. --Maurice 02:13, 13 October 2009 (UTC)

Kobayashi

Lol, I'm doing fine, just saw movie 13 the other night. Yamamura and Yamato were fairly prominent in it. NakagawaRyou 07:32, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

Chiba again

Hate to bring this up again, but before I make a page for the voice actor Isshin Chiba, I want to know what we are going to do about Chiba's name. Once again, I'd like to point out that I have never heard or read the character being referred to as Isshin Chiba and the Japanese wikipedia even refers to him simply as Chiba. It'd be a pain for me to title the page Isshin Chiba (voice actor) and then go back and rename all of the links to the page as Isshin Chiba because we later change our minds to "Nah, his name's just Chiba". This is also the reason why I haven't done many voice cast listing for episodes lately, because he does ALOT of voices on the show. Even though I'm for renmaing the character page to Chiba or Officer Chiba, I can go either way, I'd just like to know which before I make the page and redo links (since most of the cast listings I've done so far are Isshin Chiba as Officer Chiba and such). Thank you for yer time. NakagawaRyou 20:14, 26 October 2009 (UTC)

Cool, I'll prob'ly make Isshin Chiba's page later tonight then (need a more adequate list of Other Notable Roles, since regrettably I mainly know him from Conan). NakagawaRyou 23:37, 26 October 2009 (UTC)

Koyama

Wow, really? Interesting. Can't wait to hear him. He's also Takamura in Hajime no Ippo, Musashi in Eyeshield 21, and Yamato in Naruto. NakagawaRyou 04:46, 28 October 2009 (UTC)

Already made his article: Rikiya Koyama. NakagawaRyou 05:38, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
They released a sample of him as Kogoro, reading lines alongside Minami Takayama (as Conan) [2]. Not bad at all, but I'll still always hear Kamiya's voice when I read the manga. NakagawaRyou 16:29, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
Well, that's cool. Speaking of filler, saw the preview for the next episode, and it's clear to me that the whole purpose of the episode is to give fans a taste of the new Kogorou (lol). Made a buncha new voice actor pages, btw. NakagawaRyou 06:09, 30 October 2009 (UTC)

Seiyuu

Eventually, although Azusa's voice actress hasn't done much else so she'll probly be waaaay down the line. The ones I have planned next are Fumihiko Tachiki (Vodka), Kotono Mitsuishi (Kir), Mami Koyama (Vermouth), Junko Noda (Eisuke), Nobuyuki Hiyama (Makoto), Akira Ishida (Hakuba), Nobutoshi Kanna (Matsuda), Masaharu Sato (Musashi from Yaiba), and Masako Katsuki (Shizuka). NakagawaRyou 16:05, 30 October 2009 (UTC)

Sweet! Thanks. NakagawaRyou 08:01, 31 October 2009 (UTC)

Animetoplist.org

Hey, thanks for the heads up! I have Kaspersky and haven't had any issues going to that site at all. I also have a security plugin on Firefox that should let me know if this site is suspicious or not but it did not warn me of anything. Maybe it's just a small javascript scrip that's triggering the McAfee auto-defense mechanism. Shouldn't be anything serious if that's the case. I'll keep an eye on this though and eventually do some more in-depth investigation in the future. --Maurice 15:35, 8 November 2009 (UTC)

New characters

I see you got Midori and Kujo now. I guess the last really important character page to do would be Andre Camel... and maybe Kamen Yaiba? NakagawaRyou 06:36, 12 November 2009 (UTC)

Ages

  • If I understood you correct, you asked me, if we have some information/ages of charakters in our wiki, that you don't have. In Germany, the charakters are named like in the original japanese manga. If you want to copy some information from our wiki, you can do it. There is no copyright on information, that everyone can search on his own in the manga or the anime ;-) Philipp S. 11:00, 14 November 2009 (UTC)

Login system

Hey! I made one small change to the login system to make sure that lowercase usernames would still work when logging into the wiki (basically, they will be capitalized dynamically). But, I remember you had some login issues a long time ago which I fixed then. I just want to make sure that the change I did, did not affect that fix in some weird way (it should not normally). So, would you mind logging out then back in to make sure there are no problems? Also, make a small edit somewhere to ensure it displays "CarpetCrawler" correctly (with the correct case for each letter). Thanks! :) --Maurice 03:28, 17 November 2009 (UTC)

Appearnces

Yeah possibly, that's why I'm testing it out on Kid, who only appears a handfull of times anyway. NakagawaRyou 21:50, 27 November 2009 (UTC)

For me, it's more for the sake of not being misleading (like, as you said, if a character only appears in one part of a multi-part episode, it reflects that better) and characters like Camel who, according to the current method, only appears twice (or once? don't know about the anime, but Camel has appeared in about 4 stories so far in the manga). NakagawaRyou

Thanks for mentioning when he got arrested, I couldn't remember his second major appearance for the life of me. But all in all it's: The Hidemi Hondou saga, the time when he's a suspect in a case, the bank robbery where Akai reappears, and most recently a bomb scare at the mall (he accompanied Jodie as she once again tried to find Akai). I believe that's it. Yamato and Uehara have also made a second appearance. NakagawaRyou 22:19, 27 November 2009 (UTC)

I don't remember anything about a red wall, but then again I don't really remember the rest of the case either (not the second half at least). But yeah, the BO weren't involved with the Bomb Scare, but they were major characters in the arc. NakagawaRyou 02:11, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

Re: Midori Megure

Of course you can ;) Philipp S. 08:38, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

Camel

Sure. Oh, and for when you create his page: Manga Debut: Chapter 599, Seiyuu: Kiyoyuki Yanada (Akagi from Slam Dunk!!), and so far he has only appeared in Opening 27. NakagawaRyou 00:13, 2 December 2009 (UTC)

The only arc coming up in the anime that I know of is, as you pointed out to me, the Red Wall (Yamato vs Koumei) arc, so I don't know what you mean. Since the "death" of Akai in the manga, Camel has appeared shopping for wine with Jodie and James in the bank robbery arc where Akai mysteriously reappears, and in the Dangerous Mall arc where he accompanies Jodie as she searches for more traces of Akai (once again, Jodie tries to pass him off as her boyfriend when she comes across Ran and Kogoro). NakagawaRyou 05:15, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
677 and 679 are the first and last chapter in bank robbery arc. Jodie goes wine shopping with James and Camel, Camel accidentally brings up Akai and upsets her. She walks alone and sees Akai, follows him into a bank (where Conan and the Detective Boys are dropping something off for Agasa... i think), and they get caught up in a bank heist. The mall story begins with Vodka telling Gin about how he saw Akai in the crowd of the bank heist hostages on the news, so it's prob'ly the bank heist arc that's coming up first. Anyway, I don't really remember Yusaku appearing in the Desperate Revival arc at all, so yer guess is better than mine. The Kudos appear so infrequently (and it's usually just Yukiko) and haven't even appeared in forever, so I lose track of whenever they make small cameos. NakagawaRyou 05:26, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
(slaps forehead) That's right! I forgot about the flashback of young Yusaku and Yukiko. Thanks, that'll make looking for him in the manga easier. Anyway, Camel only plays a minor part in both cases (especially the bank heist). Although he and Jodie are frequent throughout the entire Dangerous Mall case, they don't really get involved. By the way, the bank heist arc is where it's implied Jodie and Akai were lovers. NakagawaRyou 05:38, 2 December 2009 (UTC)

Koumei

Since he is appearing soon in the anime, if you decide to do a page for Taka'aki Morofushi (Koumei): Manga Debut: 682; Seiyuu: Sho Hayami. NakagawaRyou 07:51, 8 December 2009 (UTC)

No, so far he's only appeared in the Red Wall case, but I'm hoping he will appear again. His backstory is mentioned in the story, though. NakagawaRyou 08:02, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
I'll leave this up to you and change links to reflect yer decision (if I need to), but Koumei is only once so far referred to by his actual name (I think), he is typically called Koumei. How should the article be named? NakagawaRyou 05:57, 12 December 2009 (UTC)
Okey-doke! NakagawaRyou 07:03, 12 December 2009 (UTC)

Momose

Hey, do you remember Inspector Momose from Festival Dolls Dyed in the Setting Sun? Do you remember him appearing prior to that case? NakagawaRyou 01:57, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Well, Momose made a single-chapter appearance recently in the manga, and when I looked through the Festival Dolls Case in the manga he didn't have a proper introduction, so I thought maybe he appeared prior to that and I just didn't remember. NakagawaRyou 04:04, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
Chaki appears most promanantly during Kaitou Kid's first appearance, but also in the first part of Movie 3, and briefly at the end of the Impregnable Safe Case. He is Nakamori's senior and the superintendent of Division 2. NakagawaRyou 02:08, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

Translation

I'm not fluent enough to translate yet. What I was doing was proofreading (correcting the guy's grammar and some translation errors). Sorry, but why do you ask? NakagawaRyou 05:03, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

I'll do what I can, but I don't have the stuff on my computer for making scanlations, so I'll have to send txt files. NakagawaRyou 05:10, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
No prob! NakagawaRyou 05:15, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

Takashi Matsuo

I'm making a DC sampler dvd for a friend, with episodes that show off most of the cast (save the FBI). Because the Matsuo episode was referenced in Eri's first episode, I had to get the Matsuo episode as well. While skimming through the episode I got to the credits and noticed that the character and his voice actor had the same exact kanji. I said "holy shit", and looked it up on the Japanese wiki, which verified what I have submitted. ^^ NakagawaRyou 09:21, 17 December 2009 (UTC)

I just added Matsuo-san's pic, he looks just like his cartoon version! NakagawaRyou 09:31, 17 December 2009 (UTC)

Ethan

Saw it, looks pretty good for a start. I'll the little thing's now. How's Camel coming along? NakagawaRyou 05:58, 20 December 2009 (UTC)

Cool. NakagawaRyou 15:03, 20 December 2009 (UTC)

Special Manga

Unfortunately, I've never read them. As they're not written by Aoyama I'm not as interested in them, though I have been trying to find the story with Generic, which I do find interesting. NakagawaRyou 22:51, 22 December 2009 (UTC)

Sure, that'd be cool. Btw, have you seen the work I did on Okiya, Conan, and Yamato (the last 2 I did about a month ago)? NakagawaRyou 23:01, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
Sent a pm. I don't really know if Bourbon should have a page yet, right now I have the Bourbon link redirecting to the Bourbon section on Black Organization. I mean, it's almost certain Okiya is Bourbon... but then again, it was also almost certain Jodie Santemillion was Vermouth... NakagawaRyou 23:29, 22 December 2009 (UTC)

Cool, thanks! NakagawaRyou 23:46, 22 December 2009 (UTC)

Kogoro's Appearances

I went as far as I could with Kogoro Mouri Appearances, but the reference list I was using ends with season 17. Do you think you can add the season 18 episodes he doesn't appear in? NakagawaRyou 18:36, 28 December 2009 (UTC)

'Preciate it! NakagawaRyou 05:01, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

E-mail that I received

It might very well be a username issue. The wiki can be picky there sometimes. I'll do some testing to see what it could be. Thanks for the report. :) --Maurice 06:37, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

Wait, I'm guessing he was only talking about the forum right? If that's the case, then it should be working. However, there are some forums where he can't start a topic, such as "News and updates". Otherwise, it should be ok. Maybe if he could take a screenshot of the error he's having? :/ --Maurice 06:48, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
I actually figured out the issue. It's just that he didn't validate his account. I sent him an email about that. Hopefully, he'll be able to work it out. --Maurice 22:35, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

Miyamura

No prob, though the voice actress who played Kuririn's airheaded girlfriend (that was the one) was Yuko Kobayashi, who has actually appeared in DC at least 4 times (according to the Japanese wiki). But hey, she was Asuka!!... Meh, Kazuha is more important. NakagawaRyou 06:57, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

Oh yes, I know Hiyama very well (Hiei, 556, Ikkaku, etc.), and Noda as well. Takashima I mainly know from DC, though. NakagawaRyou 22:30, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

Epiosode 13/128

I watched the funi sub on the released dvd which identifies the girl from episode 13 as Akemi Miyano, the same girl as Ai's sister. Out of curiosity, is this the same Akemi in episode 128, and if not, why do the two have the same name? Also, the girl in episode 128(with her glasses on, lipstick, etc) looks like the same woman in episode 13. Not to mention Conan and Akemi recognize each other at the beginning of episode 128. I'm a little confused...

I'll answer this since I happened across your question out of curiosity. :) The anime originally didn't want to include the Black Organization where they originally appeared in the manga (for some reason or another) so Episode 13 changed the plot dramatically to let this Akemi Miyano live as opposed to the manga version, not realizing the importance her death would hold later on. In a nutshell, the anime "Akemi Miyano" from episode 13 is not Ai's sister; the one featured in Episode 128 however is. Episode 128 is technically an anime original episode, created to fix the the problems episode 13 caused. In episode 128 it is implied that Conan had talked a few times before with Akemi for one reason or another while she was working at the bank, but they had not seen each other before that point of time. --skyechan

Columbo

I believe so, I just wasn't sure. I know the fact that both restaurants were named after fictional detectives was important and why it was mentioned. I also remember Conan referring to Columbo as "that foreign detective who always says "Just one more thing"" (lol). NakagawaRyou 07:15, 6 January 2010 (UTC)

Shinkansen

If he did, it was only in the background, I'd have to look through it again. NakagawaRyou 06:33, 7 January 2010 (UTC)

Map assistance

Yeah, the extension is a bit picky there. If there's a character or weird symbol it doesn't like, the whole map simply won't show. I also just enabled the extension on the Sandbox page. You should be able to do more testing there if needed now. ^^ --Maurice 05:05, 13 January 2010 (UTC)

No problem. And thanks a bunch! :D It's not completed yet though. We need to plot the points of interest on the map --> cause you can also click on specific areas on the map and go to the corresponding article/section. :) But this will take time which is ok. --Maurice 15:48, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
Hehe, yeah. This is gonna be really cool when it's done! ^^ And sure thing about the new links in the sidebar. That sounds like a good idea! --Maurice 21:37, 15 January 2010 (UTC)

Calvados

No problem! ;) --Maurice 06:11, 17 January 2010 (UTC)

Upload multiple files

Yeah, I removed the extension a while ago thinking that it was not being used. It's good to know that it was though! I just put it back. :) --Maurice 23:40, 17 January 2010 (UTC)

Sleeping Yamamura

Ossu. Yamamura appeared in the latest case in the manga and was used as the sleeping detective rather than Kogoro, who was also there. I was wondering how many times Yamamura was used as the sleeping detective. I remember his debut story and of course the latest, but I can't remember any other times, and I keep thinking I'm forgetting at least one other. NakagawaRyou 06:31, 30 January 2010 (UTC)

Eh, yeah, I guess that counts. NakagawaRyou 08:07, 30 January 2010 (UTC)

Re: Unseen Suspect

Hi CarpetCrawler... Sorry about that... I noticed some episodes that weren't fansubbed had pages and figured you were using manga chapters as a reference, but I guess you were just using raw episodes since they also have title images... I'll wait for the episode to be fansubbed next time... ~ akadirgun (wikianswers animetalk) 21:03, 1 February 2010 (UTC)

Yes.. I actually worked in wikis before.. Infact I'm still working... Here and here... Darker than Black ended and there isn't much I can do there, so I mostly edit at Wikianswers Anime... I'm actually better at more technical stuff like creting templates, etc. than adding content...
By the way... Does the background color change according to the hour? Because It's morning here.. and the background is blue.. In the evening it was orange and at night it was dark blue...
