A couple then arrives, as well, and they start discussing the murder-robbery case. They begin to unravel the trick with Conan and Masumi's help, explaining in detail how a spinning rubber hose could be used as a vacuum pump. They imply indirectly that '''Sosuke Mizushina''' is actually the culprit, which prompts him to run to the bathroom and look for the glass shards that he had retrieved with the hose vacuum trick and had hidden in the toilet water tank. They learns that Shukichi Haneda had also been at the restaurant and left just before the three suspects arrived. Yumi confesses that she ran into him that night, but didn't mention it, because she didn't want him involved. Conan suggests that Yumi calls Haneda, since he has memory, and heard if he had notice something about the culprit. At the same time Sera decides to call her smart brother. Since he is also a regular at the Ramen restaurant, he might have seen the three suspects. Yumi reaches Haneda, but before she can ask him, he puts her on hold to answer another call.
