The Haido City Hotel (杯戸シティホテル Haido Shiti Hoteru?), sometimes also transcribed as Hyde City Hotel, is a skyscraper hotel in the district of Haido Town, which is part of the Beika Ward in Tokyo. It's a recurring setting in the Detective Conan and Magic Kaito franchises. It is also not to be confused with the Haido Hotel or Hotel Haido Pride, which are different buildings in the same district.

Location

The surroundings seen from the roof Conan Edogawa and Kaitou Kid have their first meeting on, including Tokyo Tower and the Shiroyama Trust Tower(jp) to the left and, hence, the position of Haido City Hotel, are identical with those of the ANA Intercontinental Tokyo Hotel (1-12-33 Akasaka, Minato City, Tokyo 107-0052, Japan (35°40'10"N 139°44'54"E)) in the Akasaka District of Minato Ward. Apart from that, Gosho Aoyama used a different, so far unidentified model for the hotel itself in the Manga.

In Magic Kaito 1412, its position is identical with that of the Roppongi Hills Mori Tower in the Roppongi district of Minato.

In this series, its look and position (judging by Kaito Kuroba's view from Tokyo Tower are identical with the Roppongi Hills Mori Tower in the Roppongi district of Minato. That building was already used as a model for the Tokyo Art Museum in the Magic Kaito TV Specials before.
