Iwao was found culpable of the robbery by Kogoro who called the police to arrest him but he managed to flee. The accomplice's identity remains unknown.

    • According to Detective Conan producer Michihiko Suwa, during the writing stage of the script, the script of the episode had "The deduction that was force-stopped" as a subtitle because Conan forces Kogoro to stop his deduction at some point in the episode.
    • Iwao Takabori's car is a Dark Blue Ford Mustang GT 2017. The license plate number is 新宿 331, た 35-27 (Shinjuku 331, Ta 35-27).
