Hiroyuki Horiuchi (堀内 博之 ,Horiuchi Hiroyuki) is a Japanese animator from Aomori Prefecture. He takes part in the production of Detective Conan anime and movies.

Biography

Hiroyuki Horiuchi joined Studio Poke in 1981. When Studio Poke disbanded in 1987, he joined AIC for a year before become freelance.

Horiuchi was involved in the production of the Detective Conan anime fairly early, starting with the 2nd episode Episode 2: Company President's Daughter Kidnapping Case in 1996. He did key animation mostly in the anime, except being the prop designer and animation director for Episode 219: The Gathering of the Detectives! Shinichi Kudo vs. Kaitou Kid, and being the layout supervisor for Episode 383: Miracle at Koshien Ball Park! The Defiants Face the Dark Demon. After 2005, Horiuchi mainly focused on the production of Detective Conan movies, in which he served as different kinds of animation director, such as effect and action animation directors.
