Joji Yanase (柳瀬 譲二 Yanase Jōji?) is a Japanese animation director. He takes part in the production of Detective Conan anime and movies.

Biography

Joji Yanase was originated from Oh! Production (OHプロダクション); he first served as animation director in 1980, King Arthur Hakuba (燃えろアーサー 白馬の王子).

Yanase did numerous key animation works in the Detective Conan anime ever since his debut in 1996; however, in 2000, he left the production team temporarily, after finishing the key animation work of the One Hour Special Episode 208: The Entrance to the Maze: The Anger of the Colossus.
