Takashi Hyodo (兵頭 敬 Hyōdō Takashi?) is a Japanese animation director. His name is often times misread as Kei.

Biography

He was a cram school teacher until 1979, he then became an animator after his resignation. He is currently a freelance animator.

Works in Detective Conan

Hyodo joined the production of the Detective Conan anime since the first episode, Roller Coaster Murder Case. Afterwards, he served as key animator and animation director for the anime irregularly. He quit being active until 2002, and his last participation in the anime was key animation work for Furinkazan - The Mysterious Armored Warrior in 2008. Furthermore, he had been the sub-character designer for a few anime original episodes as well.
