The best detective in DC

Personaly, I'd go with Yusaku Kudo since he probably has better deducition skills than any other characters except possiblly Heizo Hattori, and if he's willing to postpone his proposal to solve a case, he must also have strong sense of justice as to Heizo who uses his son as a bait (although I kind of liked that part. Sorry Heiji).

Always Liked how Yusaku Kudo always schooled Shinichi in the case pointing out what/how he wasn't 100% right

I don't think Sera is as good as Conan or other guys. Also, she was willing to let that one guy get killed by the sniper and actually tried to get him killed. She didn't even try to come up with a possibility of saving all lives as Shinichi did which is being a bad detective.

Why?

He's older and wiser... more mature. He obviously knows how to treat a lady better than Shinichi does and he's not too bad of a father!

He is able to view from the point of the criminal AND the detective because he is a writer. Not even his son, the star of the show, would be able to say that about himself.

Yusaku. But then again, shinichi/conan, being the protagonist of the series, will likely surpass his father sometime (soon i hope)

I think Heiji,Shinichi,Hakuba,Kaito and Sera are good for their age but no one can beat Yusaku Kudo.
