Well everyone has their opinion But as for anime and manga make a impact on viewers But if impact is negative on some people FanFics,amv's doesn't matter since they are taken from main thing anyway (anime /manga).

I'll name something with an amazing fanbase: Touhou. Touhou is like 10% canon, and about 90% fanbase. Heck, Touhou's simply a video game series, yet it has an anime series in the works (WHICH IS ALL FAN-BASED). It has several animated videos on Youtube and other various places, and it has fanart (some which is slightly pornographic, but Rule 34).

In fact, the fanbase and the canon are so tightly intertwined that sometimes ZUN (creator of the Touhou games) incorporates elements from the fanbase.

I've been listening to all the HetaOni OSTs, and... It's just amazing and beautiful. Maybe I'm just too emotional, but I always end up crying... Imagine watching your friends dying over and over again... And you can't do anything about it. Being stuck in a loop of endless death... Every time someone died, you had to start at the beginning, attempting to save them. Every time you know what's going to happen, but you can't do anything. Your friends forget dying and everything that happened... Only to live through it again. Unable to protect your friends no matter how hard you try. Even betraying their trust so they won't die for the 74th time. It's... Never mind. I can't explain it.
