I've never read the AR series, but I've read many other works by Anthony Horowitz.

Most notably the Gatekeepers series, which he has yet to conclude (still).

I've read the Rider series and they're pretty good. Gatekeepers is good as well, but I'm annoyed that he never got around to finishing that (yet).

I agree with you all. I've read both of those series and several other books by Horowitz. Personally I prefer Gatekeepers over the Rider series (partly 'cause most of the baddies, if not all, aren't originally British, it gives off the wrong impression, also, the motives are pretty weak sometimes). It's a shame that Horowitz hasn't completed Gatekeepers yet.
