Ok so remember I said Heiji and Kazuha was not finished?
(in case you didn't see,look here : ttp://www.detectiveconanworld.com/forum/topic/2473-1-finished-and-2-still-workung-on-it/)
Well here's the finished look:
Looks a bit odd. I gave up on Kazuha's hair + Ribbon....
but I think Heiji came out great here.
oh and my sig is a bit different due to technical difficulties. =_=;
And... Here goes: My tools.
1. Colored Pencils.
- Pink - for characters like Ayumi
- Canary Yellow** - Haibar's hair color
- Copy not Non-photo blue* - Varies. But mostly for (shocked)eye color.
- Light Peach - skin color
- Black - No need for explaining this
- Aquamarine* - Haibara's eye color.
- Goldenrod** - For Haibara's Gold colored Hair
- True Green* - Haibara's eye color.
- Terra Cotta** - It's reddish brown. this is for Haibara's hair.
- Dark Brown - Most of the characters hair.
- Light Cerulean blue* - I know it's not the right color forthe eye, but it was the closest I can get.
- Dark Umber - basically, black brown
* The eye colors tend to vary a lot of times... especially Haibara. from Green to blue.
** Her Hair color also varies... not to mention that she's a girl right? =-= (did anyone get the joke?)
2. Pencils
- 6B -For very dark shading like Heiji's Hair and his cloth above.
- 4B -A bit lighter shade than 6B. (An example will be Conan's Suit, and his Bow tie.)
- 2B -Light shades for light colored clothes. I shaded Kazuha's cloth to put an example.
- HB -(a.k.a. #2) This is only good for outlining. Since it's cheap to buy, I sharpen these all the time...
- F Great for shading skin tones.
- 4H -Sketching, and very light shade such as shade for eyelid.(or something... you know what I mean)
3. Engineering Scale -for straight line in sketching
4. Stumps - a great shading tool. If you don't have it, use q-tips.
5. Xeno Tri-eraser - triangle shape erase helps erasing corners
6. Tuff Stuff - for erasing small places. gives an extra detailed work.
7. ArtGum - good when you want to erase places that is shaded a lot. makes tons of dust though.
8. Sandpaper - for sharpening stumps
9. Kneaded rubber - makes smudges when necesary, and erases if you want it to.
10. Poor Quality eraser - horrible eraser is bvery good at making smudges
11. Faber Castell - less dust, more erasure.
12. $3 Sharpener - made in Germany. shapening pencils with this is effortless.
13. Eraser caps - quick erase for quick mistakes.
