Some people just do. Just because you were brought up not to doesn't mean you necessarily have to find it offensive, nor does it mean you shouldn't find it offensive. It's a matter of personal preference. Some people feel uncomfortable about it, especially those who have grown up around people who don't swear.

Some people don't like it and some people have been brought up in stricter homes where swearing is generally not the way to go.

Which is why we're taking a poll on it since I'm still deciding on boundaries. And your definition works. There's no way to explicitly state how it would be, so we'll allow the moderators to decide on what works and what doesn't. Alright, so, rules. I don't think that we need to take a poll at the moment. Each player may control other characters for basic actions and dialogue. The moderator of each round will decide what is considered godmodding. They may set boundaries regarding # of uses per post if they choose to do so. AU themed rounds will not be played at the present time. They will be planned ahead of time and announced ahead of time. Joining ahead of time is not permitted, like all rounds, they will be done on a first come first serve basis. A trial round with a maximum number of 5 people will be launched in the future. AU rounds can be requested, though those who request rounds may not necessarily be agreed to and due to the first come first serve rule, they will have to work hard to join. Those who would like to moderate AU rounds when announced should message IdentityUnknown. I'd also like feedback and other improvements for further rounds after the current beta round.

I honestly don't see how this will work as a petition but that's just me. I do, however, agree that killing should be stopped. Using kids as soldiers is just cruel and immoral. You're taking away their entire childhood and that's something they can never regain. As for myself, I can see how abortion is justifiable in certain circumstances. It's a painful process--people dont do it "just because." Yes, they should've been much more careful if they didn't want a child, but sometimes there are reasons why they chose to go on that path. I don't think that people should do it, but I don't believe it should be outlawed. I think the one thing I find sad about abortion is that so many people in the world are infertile, unable to get a child of their own. And here is a woman who, probably because of some mistake, is now destroying her child. Anyways, if you put yourself in that person's shoes for a minute, maybe you could understand. Maybe you could realize how hard it would be to raise a child, especially if you don't have the financial background to support it or if you're still in school. People like that...they can't raise a child. You're asking them to give up all their plans and their dreams just for a mistake they made, likely when drunk. Heck, you're asking them to give up their life...and chances are, they aren't ready to do that. Abortion is escape from all that. I admire those who, despite their mistakes, continue through with raising the child, but I can see why they would choose abortion as well. Of course, if it's someone who goes around constantly doing this and constantly getting pregnant and going through abortions, I'll kick them out the 27th floor window.
