I've been thinking about it for some time. Why does Bourbon hate Akai? There are many possible reasons as to why he hates Akai, and I want to know what YOU think. It may have some connection with family problems. Although we don't know much about Akai's family(aside fdrom the fact that Sera is his sister), there may still be some connection. It can also be because of love. Akai dated Akemi before, didn't he? And if my memory serves me right I think the two fell for each other for realsies. Maybe Bourbon was jealous. And after that, for Akai technically being the reason why Akemi died, he decided to avenge Akemi's death and kill Akai. It may also be his friendship or closeness with Akemi, that when she died because of Akai, he wanted to avenge her death. He may have been a close friend to Akemi, and is against the fact that Akai is dating her. This may be true since Sherry knows about him. It may also be because of the rankings/reputation in the B.O. Maybe Bourbon was jealous because Akai had gained such a good reputation in the B.O. and achieved such a high ranking, almost becoming the partner of Gin, who has a great rank in the B.O. Just a couple of questions: If Sherry does know something about Bourbon, why didn't she tell Conan about it? Does Akai hate Bourbon, too? Is Amuro Tooru's name real or not? And, if my memory serves me right, how come Kir(Mizunashi Rena) say that Bourbon is a new member? How could he be a new recruit if Sherry and Akemi knew him and he also knew Akai, who had been long gone in the Organization for three years already? How did that happen? So..what do you guys think is the reason why Bourbon hates Rye?
