"That's weird though. I don't think I've ever seen her before," commented Aeyra entering the store. "I wonder why she doesn't just come right up to me and ask if I'm Amy or something?" "She's probably shy," said Chelsea, handing Cure-kun a pair of cat ears from a box on a store table. "How about these for your ceremony tonight, Cu-Yohan?" "No way!" he protested, throwing them back into the box. "Why don't you make Aeyra wear them? She actually likes this kind of stuff!" "I already gave you the reason for why I'm not going in anything more than casual clothes tonight. It just depends on you guys to figure it out you know." Aeyra smiled, tempted to spill the beans. "If you do it before the ceremony, then I'll wear the cat ears until the ceremony starts, how about that?"
  3. That would be neat. *sigh* Too bad that's just about impossible.

    DC or CC

I think DC sounds a little cooler.

*Oh no... Shopping for clothes is my worst enemy. Hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, hate it, etc. I'm not very feminine in that manner. *shakes head* I guess Chelsea was the only one who would pick up on the hint I left in my last thing. *sigh* Cure-kun, you missed a very good chance to deflect all of your teasing.* "Chelsea," whispered Aeyra, marching in front of Misaki-chan as she dragged Cure-kun towards the store. "Is it just me, or has that girl over there been following us?" "Who?" asked Chelsea, looking behind her to see nothing but a crowded street of people. "I don't see anybody specific." "But- but I could have sworn there was somebody right there!" Aeyra pointed to the side of a building where she had seen a teenage girl lurking, staring at her. "Maybe it was just coincidence."
  6. LOLZ. Usually I just leave anonymous reviews now a days. Just depends if I signed in to see my stats or not.

I only do that when I color things in. *chuckles weakly* It's a little sad, I know. I read Chapter 1 and just couldn't stop. XD

Yup! I wrote 'I AM KIRA' and then lightly erased to make it fade out a little bit. What did you think of my shading, seeing you're really good at graphite? Thank you! Have you read Death Note before?

    Aeyra's art thread

So I started Death Note yesterday afternoon, (and finished it this morning before lunch which basically means it took me less than twenty four hours to finish it) and I love the character Yagami Raito. (Light, but I think Raito sounds cooler. ^^) It's a really good manga/anime, so I recommend it if you're looking for something new. So, the first one I drew while staring at a computer screen from.. six, seven feet away while helping my bro with math. I did that so it would be kind of reference, and kind of my own style. I like how it turned out. It's a little weird because I'm not too good at drawing that body that way, but I like how I drew the face. ^^ This second one I drew this afternoon (right after I drew this one) and I looked at a reference (my manga guide) for the position. It looks a ton better than if I didn't. However, Raito's face is completely unreferenced. (I'm proud of myself) It's completely computer-drawn, and I think it looks nice. ^^ They're in spoilers because they're kind of big. *chuckles weakly* But please comment despite them not being DC! If you haven't read Death Note, then tell me what you think of the drawing style! Thank you!
  10. Thank you! I'm glad you like it. ^^ You remind me of Chelsea. (she was like- my only solid reviewer for much of the story.)

Hmm... I do get Bio though... I have Biology Honors this year, but it shouldn't be that hard. I passed with all As last year in Biology. ^^ Just need a quick refresher. Mendelian Genetics wasn't hard the way my teacher taught it though... "Gotcha!" cried everybody but Cure-kun, cracking up as he realized he'd been caught- again. "I see. The thing just said Congrats and come to a ceremony, but I was pretty sure it was something like CTY or SET. I've never been to this one though..." mused Aeyra cheerily, a little bounce in her step from the smoothie sugar high. "Wonder what 'nanya and Cathy think about this." "Are those the friends that came with you?" asked Chelsea curiously, the look on Aeyra's face immediately confirming her assumptions. "Yup!" said Aeyra, almost prancing now. "Them and two other boys. 'course, we won't be seeing them until the ceremony. We're the MathCounts kids- I guess that's we were invited." "Wait a second, Aya-chan," said Chelsea, realizing something. "Would one of these boys happen to be named Geoffrey?" *Let's see if you remember. ^^*
  12. I've just been here in the corner... Reading Death Note... and drawing Raito... No wonder I can never figure out what's going on in the conversation.

    Death Note

Light is my favorite character! L just creeps me out. (that sounds so weird, doesn't it?) It's hard to draw a right or wrong in this manga really... I finished it in less than 24 hours... (is that a bad thing?) It's really good for a manga in case anyone wants to try it. I stayed up until one o'clock reading it and had to pry myself off of my iTouch so I could actually get some sleep.

ROFL. We must be blind. XD "Cure-kun, do you happen to mean this?" asked Aeyra, drawing an identical card with 'Congratulations' written in a golden front across the front, a decorative ivy border climbing up and down the sides of it. "Me and my friends actually came here for the awards ceremony you know. I just didn't want to say that." She took another sip of her smoothie, closing her eyes as she shivered. "Man this thing is cold!" "Wait, does that mean we can't come with you guys?" cried Chelsea, pouting a little bit, red highlighted hair swishing in front of her face as she turned away and let out a 'hmph'! "Actually, quite the contrary," explained Aeyra, eyes glowing as she held out tickets. "My family was originally attending, so I received three extra invitations. However, my dad's busy and my brother has an important soccer match so me and my friends are the only ones here. You want these, don't you?" She handed one to Chelsea, Misaki-chan, and KKLT, watching Cure-kun twitch in nervousness. Noticing this, Aeyra let out a smile. "You can't escape us. Besides, we should all stay together, don't you think? I'd like to keep our DCW reunion on for as long as possible!" LOLZ... should I bring my friends into this for real? Hmm... I'll use my nicknames for them if I do though. EDIT: Cure-kun, I just noticed your comment about Mendelian Genetics. You're talking about those weird pea things, right? And those charts and blood type stuff? I learned that in 7th grade bio... ... ... Quite the memories... (we looked at my friend's 'cheek cells' under a microscope... ROFL)
  15. How did we go from fish to Kid? O_o About the fish, I'm sure you mean stepping on one of the spines which would excrete poison and puncture the skin, right? And for Kid... That list sounds right.

    Déjà Vu

*So, the people who've seen my drawing of Little Heiji with the bloody arm know I've mentioned a fanfiction I was planning to write for my dear Hei-chan. ^^ So here I am, presenting it to DCW. It's actually almost weird. I posted it on ff.net first instead of here... I usually post new stories here first, but that's not the point. I want to say I'm glad you clicked the link and I hope you enjoy reading this story! Prologue first!* "Damn that Kudo, saying we should just check out this weird place in Tokyo, maybe the Organization's here, and then leavin' me alone and runnin' away. Where could little bastard have gone?" bitched Heiji irritatedly, cursing Conan under his breath as he tried to make his way through the darkness of the warehouse, searching for light that could lead him out. He scraped his hand against a rough surface in front of him, noting that he had once again hit wall. He couldn’t even see his fingers in the inky black, much less his surroundings. What an annoying situation to be in. He had lent his flashlight to the little elementary schooler who had promised to give it back right after he was finished. Conan had run into the building, and after a couple of minutes that felt like hours of painful waiting, Heiji had followed, searching feverishly for the shrunken teenager, unable to locate him, overcome with the worry that something- something had happened to the faux child. If he was found by somebody dangerous, then only Heiji could help him. Well, now Heiji was stuck in the building with hardly any idea of where the exit was. Not a very ‘helpful’ position to be in. Placing his hand on a wall, he sighed, starting to wonder if he should just sleep on the ground and wait till morning. There were worse places to spend a night- after being trapped in a musky attic with a gun pointed to his head, it didn’t really matter to him anymore. There didn’t seem to be any real danger. After all, there was no evidence that the syndicate had ever put a foot in the abandoned building. He could hear some rats squeaking, see a tiny sliver of light through the ceiling, but it didn’t really reach the ground. The worst thing that could happen was a rodent bite or catching a cold from the fall chill. He didn’t even worry about the syndicate. Conan's 'lead' simply had to be false- wouldn't they be dead right now if the Organization was truly here? Sheesh- the little twerp had some guts to call him all the way to Tokyo in such a futile attempt in his quest to take down those men in black with only a ‘this place looks weird!’ Like that was a sufficient amount of information to convince anyone of their existence. And why did he need a friend with him to scout the place if he hadn't asked Heiji to watch his back? He had just said, “Wait here for me.” Then he scampered into the warehouse, quietly entering without a single peep. Maybe Heiji was supposed to keep watch, but the little brat should have known he simply didn’t have the patience for that kind of thing. He was called a hot-blooded detective for a reason. Heiji sighed as he plopped down onto the hard ground, letting out yet another curse as he hit the floor faster than he thought he would, bad temper taking over after his initial irritation. However, the injury seemed to make him think twice about the mini-investigation. Strange... he mused, noticing something strange, tapping the concrete below him, hearing an echo like knocking on an empty fish tank. This sounds... hollow... Could it be their base is underneath here? Maybe Kudo was right after all! He immediately got on all fours, using touch alone to try and find a secret entrance of some sort. "If only Kudo hadn't taken the flashlight!" he groaned noisily, giving up as he realized it was hopeless. "I can't see a thing!" He blocked his mouth as he realized he had said the words too loud. What if someone realized that an intruder had discovered the place? He held his breath as best as he could, covering his mouth with his hand to stifle the fear that threatened to spill out, revealing his location. Taking a pen out of his pocket- he had kept it with him since he’d rushed to Tokyo right after school was over- he tossed it a distance away, waiting, waiting for footsteps to follow the clattering. But nothing happened except for the sudden cawing of a crow outside, and some more high-pitched squeaks and scratches of the rats. It felt like years, eons before he finally relaxed, satisfied that he wouldn't be murdered tonight. Luck seemed to be in his favor. He let out a smirk, lying down again, about to give in to slumber before seeing a light in the distance. Kudo? He cautiously walked over, fear still clinging to his mind, unable to see the possessor of the flashlight’s face due to both distance and poor lighting. The footsteps came closer, as did the dim yellow bulb, illuminating the gray, dreary walls. It passed over him when the figure was about fifty feet away, and he realized that wasn't the shrunken child. Shit! I’m definitely, very, very screwed! He yelped as a bullet whizzed by his cheek, almost burning the skin, feeling the tiny wind blow his hair, and ducked as another bullet flew towards him, backing out of the light. There was a low chuckle, and a muffled bang rang out, and this time, Heiji could feel the pain in his shoulder, the burning sensation that tickled up and down his arm. He bit back a scream of agony as the wound stung, blood seeping into his clothes, running down his back and front. Weaving, he sprinted to where a spot of moonlight had appeared on the ground, praying that it was an exit, not some window located ten feet up the wall. A small stone jabbed his ankle as the bullet made impact with the solid ground, cracking it and sending bits of the concrete flying. Heiji cursed under his breath, mind numb with unparalleled terror, clutching his injured shoulder as he increased his speed even more, sprinting like a wild animal. "Come back here you little rat," purred a sinister voice, arrogant and challenging, echoing across the enclosed space. "Aren't you having fun? We’re not done with our game yet." Heiji gave no answer, much too concerned with escaping, charging out the exit he had discovered by following the moonlight. He knew better than to look back- but from the noise he knew his lead was definitely shortening. His pursuer was not too far behind him, still shooting as the sound of his footsteps came closer. One last pull of the trigger launched the missile at Heiji's side, causing him to stagger over after getting a good three hundred feet into the surrounding woods, writhing as he gasped in reaction to the sudden pain, brambles cutting into his bare skin. He breathed hard, closing his eyes as his hunter approached, expecting another bullet to blow off his head, end it all right there. "Looks like my gun's out of ammo," explained the man cheekily after allowing his victim a minute to wonder about why he was still, examining the fallen teenager with an air of curiosity, nudging him with the toe of his coal-black boots. "Seems as if I'll have to use a different method to get rid of you." A hand pulled the boy up, the helpless teen opening his eyes with a gasp, letting out a whimper-like noise as he stared into the hard, cold eyes of his hunter. The rest of the man's face was still shrouded in shadows, hidden from Heiji's view except for a wisp of dark brown hair near his ears. He pulled out a small silver case, opening it to reveal small red and white capsules labeled for words too small for Heiji to focus on even if he could focus on something other than the pain of the gun wounds. He waved them in front of the suffering youth, giving him a good glimpse of his doom. "These should do the trick." Heiji felt something cold and smooth slide into his mouth as two slim fingers parted his lips futher, followed by a swish of water to wash down the poisonous pill. "Hattori Heiji, is it? I’ve seen this face before. So what does the great detective of the west think of this?" asked the man conversationally, as if this was a nice friend-to-friend meeting. Heiji thought he was being burned over an open flame, salt poured into all his open wounds. He wanted to scream, but it was like someone was clutching his throat, keeping him from breathing. He was unaware the man who had shot him was dragging him to a more secluded area, lowering the chance of his body being discovered. He couldn’t think through the pain, he couldn’t move through the fire. The man let him go; satisfied with the position he left the teenage boy in. Heiji opened his eyes a little bit to see the man running away, leaving him lying on the muddy ground, dying. He took one last breath before closing his eyes and drifting off into oblivion. *************************************** “Yes boss. I took care of that intruder. He won’t speak a word about us.” The man said, eyes glowing with menace as he stared forward at a shining screen, eyeing the shadowy figure warily. There was a snicker on the other side, before a clear, deep voice answered, “Good job, Bourbon.”
  17. *meh* ... ... On second thought, Hakuba should pair up with the twins and shove Kaito into an aquarium filled with fish. Now that would be funny.
  18. Is that a good thing or a bad thing?
  19. I started reading Death Note. And you guys are my friends, so this is fun too!
  20. You brought it up cuz of kaRAN and the theory posting, right?
  21. I can't go because my mom works nights, and my dad's in China, therefore I don't have a ride. And then even if my friend offered me a ride, I couldn't go because my brother would feel lonely. *sigh* Basically, I can't sleep over on Saturdays.
  22. It is rather long, so it's not like I blame you. 4341 words without my author notes and review replies and everything. You should probably move it to the regular section. Nobody really minds (I mean, look at V. Shaylr's D.N. Angel crossover 'An Eternal Art') and it helps you get more attention.
  23. I'm off of my hyperness.. but I still want the wedding dress idea. ^^ XD I wanna see what yours is though! ;D
  24. That was random. I couldn't go to my friend's sleepover today... ... I'm kind of sad. But maybe they'll post some pics on facebook or something...
