It's just a huge cowlick.
-
I'm not supposed to do it. I'd get my itouch taken away...
-
Well, it looks funny to my mom.
-
I need to wake up at nine or it's suspicious so I don't stay up that late.
-
I stay up until my eyes can't stay open anymore and my contacts start hurting. *blinks* I just stop when it's two o'clock in the morning, iTouch playing ninja or not.
-
This thread must look ridiculous to the random person who's just passing by now... We're talking about unicorns.
-
UNICORNS ARE MAGICAL!!!!! THEY SHALL NOT BE KILLED BY MERE HUMAN WEAPONS!!!! > On a more serious note, could we stop making fun of Ran's hair style? The unicorn thing is losing it's touch. And we don't make fun of Heiji's rhino horn.

I know, but I'd like to see the story behind it. Usually such things happen through fighting, right?
-
It's what I'm bracing myself for. I don't actually need HeiShin at all, it's just anybody BUT Kazuha really. Grrr... But of course we all know childhood couples shall always end up together... XP

Im here! *is tired* Hmm... Interesting, but I don't think Ran would act so openly jealous. It'd be more internal than external if you know what I mean. Sonoko would be more likely to suggest the relationship possibility, or possibly suggest 'you've got competition!' to Ran. Ai's quite the ice queen, isn't she? XD (I prefer the name Haibara Ai over Miyano Shiho... It looks prettier in Chinese and English.) I'm curious about where she's staying as well...

I'd say I'll look tomorrow, but it's past midnight. I do most of my writing after midnight... And I like to write long. 2,000 minimum and no real maximum. I'm not too good with controlling length though. Whatever comes out comes out, and that's that really. My DraMione fic is past 14,000 words and I'm a quarter of the way through Chapter 5. :3 I've been up the past Tao hours writing on my itouch.

But she did give you the password... Didn't she? 'Mark is depressed' or something of the sort. That would mean she's the fake. Or she's forgotten. The silence alone should be enough to show it isn't Pyre. In my eyes at least. Lemme continue. "Could this 'Pyre' be your friend H?" asked KKLT, looking at Pyre with a thoughtful expression. "It could be, but I don't think she would have done such a thing without telling me. When she posed as me, it was under my command. She has no reason to hide it. If it was her of course." Pyre sighed. "It doesn't seem like her, but it could be-" "I don't think she's working for the Organization," cut in Aeyra. "Not your 'friend' at least. The fake Pyre would have to be one that we wouldn't have a chance of recognizing as another. We've met H before. We fell for it, but as you said, she has no reason to hide it, and the Organization wouldn't risk it. The person sent has to be intelligent enough to imitate Pyre perfectly, skillful enough to evade capture if necessary, and therefore is valuable. We could kill them if it came to it. Losing spies is not a good thing." "You still don't believe I'm the true one, do you?" stated (maybe) Pyre. "It's a good way of thinking, even if you're wrong this time. In situations like this, it's good to be wary in case I was a danger to you. After all, what would a spy need with our information? They'd only need to find our locations and kill us when our backs are turned." "I'll be walking behind you when we enter," declared Aeyra, still suspicious. "One can never be too careful. And we'll all stick together when we get inside." She whipped out her iTouch, which held her copy of the precious map. "All the guards are still at the meeting. But it feels like a trap, like they know we have this and are clearing the way on purpose. Do you two think we should move forward?" ****** I personally think this Pyre is fake. From what KKLT ended up writing.
-
Hmmmm... Then it's a reasonably short story I guess. But you'll probably be adding lots of detail, ne? How many parts are there going to be. *paws* I'm curious.
-
Me too. > This is making me think of Death Note... A whole psychological battle. Who shall continue? Ideally it would be best for Pyre to decide what to say, but anyone is good. I really wanna read more.
-
Wait.. Which side are you on? If you thought I was supporting HeiKazu, I'm sorry to say it's quite the opposite. I despise the very idea. I'm the HeiShin who finds ways to break down the romance and put it into non-romantic reasons.
-
That's for me to know and for you to find out. But you did say something... And anyways, your reaction and reply to the question is important. It'll help me decide-ish. We could go on and on all day just questioning real and fake.
-
I'm here! And I guess I'll be writing... "A fake?" repeated Aeyra, stunned. All of a sudden, KLT's strange actions, this (it was Pyre right?) Pyre's confusion made sense. "Give me the phone you used to call KKLT with." "Okay," replied Pyre dubiously, placing the phone into Aeyra's waiting palm. "Why?" "I'm checking who you've most recently called. Even if your face isn't smothered in make-up, you could still be the fake. I don't know how far this Organization goes with it's missions and everything, but I'm definitely aware of it's seemingly infinite funding. For all I know, you could be wearing a mask, or have gone through plastic surgery, and have methods of keeping this hidden," explained Aeyra in a lightning fast manner, fingers wildly scrolling through the phone. "Pyre called us last to inform us about... Mark. While our number is the last on this list, you could have easily replicated the SIM card and produced exact replicas of the phone itself, scratches and everything. But there's something interesting about your last call. KKLT made it sounded like you mentioned a password of some sorts. A secret word. And I've tampered this phone so only contacts can call it, and it won't record messages. Therefore, only the true Pyre should know it. Do you remember?" Cliffhanger... Someone else decide the next part.

Umm... You're saying you hate ShinRan (specifically the Ran part) because you believe there are better women than Ran and Shiho is better for Shinichi. And then... I lost it. What are you trying to say here? I get the gist, but the details are blurry. Ran the magic unicorn. LOL I wonder if there are any MLP fanart crossovers for her... I'd love to see one right now... And Shinichi, and Heiji, and Kaito, and don't forget Hakuba. They'd all look great as little ponies. > Oh, and obviously I still stick by ShinRan. If it makes the two involved happy, then that's all it needs. The pain between them will be understood, and it will be healed. They know each other better than almost anybody else, and despite the distance, whether it's the tinny greetings through the phone or those precious, short moments they manage to grasp together, the unspoken love they share is still well and alive, burning even hotter with their separation. Neither is truly whole when the other is missing, and Shinichi truly regrets not being able to tell Ran. You can see it in the flashes of sadness that spark in his dark blue eyes, and the quiet moments when he wallows in his guilt, wishing he could answer Ran's wishes for him to simply return. To come home. *sighs* I love how beautiful this love sounds and how simple, easy, and perfect it feels to me. Most of the time I hate canon (too boring. XP Most of the time I only like one true pairing a story... Sometimes not even) but I love this couple. It's my favorite canon couple. *nods*

I see. Any estimation on word count?
-
It disappeared! *gasp*
-
It manifested as time went on. Did anyone else notice you couldn't see her horn while she was in her princess dress and crown?
-
How much do you have so far?
-
I'm sore from water-skiing... Ow...

I think the conversation would be important to Sonoko at the very least. *imagines Sonoko inching forward to eavesdrop* I bet the whole school knows about the talk by that point. *rolls eyes* And I think Ran would notice some resemblance between Ai and Shiho... Perhaps in the next chapter she should mention how much Shiho resembles 'that little Haibara girl'.
