    I wouldnt go as far as saying "Rum isn´t going to be the one poisoned with APTX". As far as I remember there wasnt any obvious sign or clue in the Vermouth-Arc, that Vermouth took APTX. You might take the use of "A secret makes a woman woman" as a hint that Chris = Sharon, but up to the big clash there wasnt any single hint, that the whole funeral was kind of "fake". Anyways, most people seem to forget that Chris actually in reality is Sharon and Sharon = Vermouth, who took APTX. In addition it should be noticed that APTX-age-reducing is different depending on the individual person. While Conan and Ai were reduced by 10 years, Sharon was reduced by about 20 ( Chris is 29, Sharon about 50?) years. Mary was for sure reduced by 30+ years (check up 971+ for guessing her age). So pretty much any (new) character might be an APTX-victim. Even the ones in the 20-30s.

    You should post this in dctp too. So much respect and thumbs up for putting so much effort into it. Simply great. We need people like you who are not afraid to think outside the box and dont go with the obvious clues. I think we need to even take a closer look at Urusei Yatsura to try to see more potential parallels between Lum and any character in Conan. I guess you know that the weak point of your theory is the "faking the death" -aspect, but since Gosho hasnt used this trick in his main story yet, why not now? So im absolutely with you and admin, lets put her into voting list up there.

    " Sakurako has only appeared with Shuukichi " Thats right to a certain point, but.. its quite worth noticing that Sakurako actually appeared in cases other potential Rum-chars were in as well. First app -> Kan + Komei Sec app -> Shuukichi 3rd app -> Kuroda Also its quite funny that more or less those 4 chars probably would be count to the main-suspects for the common reader to be Rum. (If Gosho himself wouldnt have discount Kan-Chan) (obviously Mary is missing). As if Gosho wants the common reader to remember the mentioned cases for having the main-suspects in it - and not Sakurako. For me as the biggest screamer of her being Rum are the recurring (one)-eye-innuendos the biggest hint as well as her being near Shuukichi (Marys Son?!) and afterwards in a hotel (guess who lives in a hotel, right, Mary). Prediction 1 : Next time she appears will be in a case Sera or Mary will be in. Prediction 2: Since i believe Chapter 1000 will be something special -> 980 - 995 the above mentioned Chars we re-appear and 995-1000 and further will be a story of Rum appearing for the first time (as a shadow of silhouette) and try (and fail!) to kill Mary.

    Just for info: How long did it take you to finish ur research? Sick work and a interesting and new way to approach the "problem". Only thing i worry about is that ur assumptions, which are obv right, wont be used by Gosho as as recurring pattern. He still might come up with Rum doesnt need to turn his/her head everytime since there isnt any dangerous situation. Now obviously some of you will tell, that Gosho is superdetailed on drawing .. but still.. i somehow wouldnt trust in that at all. I was noticing the same thing about Sakurako, especially her pupils seem to change size. But here again, Gosho might come up with a "modern prothestic eye" which pupil changes size reacting to light-effects. And somehow i feel we still have too few panels from pretty much every suspicious character to finally judge it. But still you should be hunting down the upcoming panels through ur system Nice to see ur "suspects" are pretty much similar to mine. I guess ur taking Mary and Shukichi out of it cause its more or less likely confirmed that theyre Akai-family. If u like to add some more suspects, which i was recently thinking about and which arent obiously enough discussed and analyzed: Yoko Okino / Azusa Enomoto / Higo Ryusuke (did he occur before 925? i think so) / Misao Yamamura (him beeing Rum obv means his grandma is the boss) Btw, if u had to do a final guess on Rum, who would it be ?

    Dont know if it was mentioned before, but Rumi says at p15 : "Are you ready to depart this world?" Dunno about you, but this phrase seems somewhat familiar to me.. as if it was used by Gin or someone from the BO before. Maybe someone has a better memory..

    This thread is a good idea. My guesses: Hyoue Kuroda: He really belongs to the police or any PSB-like group. #goodguy Sakurako Yonehara: Surprise surprise, it´s Rum. Wakasa Rumi; In some way connected to Kohji Haneda. Girlfriend or sister - but obv the one responsible for the internet-site. Shukichi Haneda: Middle Akai brother Mary; M16-agent, Akai-Mother (?), "Mother" might still be a codename.. who knows. Azusa Enomoto: Another Rum-Candidate, since she appeared on Movie20 and is getting more and more air-time in the manga. But still Yonehara is my first pick. Anyone left?

    About Kuroda: Your right, i was mistaken. Though theres still some chance he´s involved in the incident 17 years ago. Guess we simply have to wait for more clues. About Yone I dont mean to say she lives there but only wanted to point out her appearence in those places, which is suspicious enough. I really hope some japanese guys tell us, if Kuroda/Mary/Haneda/Yonehara will appear in movie 20. If Yonehara happens to appear in it, i think its safe to say she has a bigger role than just being a ordinary housekeeper.

    Question remains : When and why did she took APTX ? Or was it given to her. Maybe its time to take a look again on the APTX-List...

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adam%27s_apple I noticed that Vermouth´s Araide-mask wasnt covering the neck but only her face. Means that Conan shouldve noticed the missing Adams apple. Same with Sera - nobody is noticing that she doesnt have an adams apple. Means that Gosho either doesnt care about it or simply wants to keep the "gender guessing game" open. By that i want to say, that its still possible that some person we already know actually has another gender then we think. __ Mary: I would love to see that she was actually involved within the murder 17 years ago (obviously not as Rum / shes not Rum). Then the whole picture wouldve become clearer and clearer. E: Aaah , now i understood what u meant by "Shes older than Conan". Well i agree, that seems quite obvious. But what i meant was : Is she - in her current state - older than Conan? Conan has the body of a 7-9 (?) year old. Mary´s body seems to be around that age too. Anyways , my point is: Is it possible, that she took APTX 17 years ago during the known incident? Seems unlikely...

    Important thing to notice is that Mary is in the same age as Conan/AI. Guess that means, she just recently took APTX, similar to Conan/Ai. If Mary would´ve taken the APTX 17 years ago i highly doubt she would be still this young/small. So - considering Mary is an adult/teenager (as Shinichi) - why did she recently took the APTX ? Or was it given to her? By Rum? Did Rum notice his mistake and the effect of ATPX and want to clear out the situation right now? Another interesting fact is , that Gosho dont seem to care about adam´s apples. mfg

    Gosho is a genius. Actually everything u are searching for is pretty much combined in 1 chapter - ofc well disguised by Gosho. And actually some of u are right: Rums target is actually Mary/MG/Mom. mfg
