Here at HP Service Center having my laptop fixed, hopefully...I just hope that my files, especially DC episodes, movies, OVAs, and magic files are safe...

Monsi, when you get it back, as long as they didn't rewrite the drive MULTIPLE times, that program should still work if anything is missing and is recoverable. You don't need access to command prompt or anything like that. After they are done, just download that program if anything is missing and give it a shot

Kyuu: Fortunately, the service center let me have the defective hard drive for me to perform a backup/recovery. I'll try it tonight. And thanks for the link...the program works fine when I tried it on my flash disk.
