Multiple. The Bourbon plotline grows over the cases like an average DC storyline. Only its length will be much shorter.

Yeah, I pretty much agree she would have been a more interesting character that way in my opinion. Think of how she could threaten to blackmail Conan what with Kogoro's love for her.
