If you were to be enlisted in the Black Organization, what personalized codename would they assign you? (Note: It has to be an alcoholic beverage that has never been used) If enough people come up with their own codenames, I will make a list below of members and their respective codename just for fun. It's probably too late to change what you've already said (which can be quite overboard most of the time), but I'm happy to see that you are willing to drop some hatred towards Ran. Some examples:

Why make YOU do it? It's like asking a murderer asking "Show me proof!" and a detective saying "If you want proof, look for yourself! Why make me do it?" If that's one of the things you get fired up about Ran, then no comment... My point is that you might say "Ran is an emotional wreck!" but there are several other characters who are "emotional wrecks" as well. You make it seem like Ran is the only character who is "unfashionable", "emotional", "stupid", "angry", or whatever other things you can call her. But in a matter of fact, she isn't the only one, so it sometimes makes your argument invalid. (And I never said Kazuha was unfashionable, I was trying to make a point...) I've pretty much said all that I wanted to say. So there's no need for me to further elaborate on anything else...

Any examples? The only provocative clothing I remember Ran wearing are her bathing suits (which are totally appropriate for the beach). Well considering how much you dislike Ran, calling her names does come from your hatred, regardless if it's a joke or not. And I still want some examples of the severity of Ran's "showiness" because I can't take your word for it without any proof. And "unfashionable" is a matter of opinion. You could even say that about Sonoko, Kazuha, Aoko, etc. So it's biased to say that Ran's clothing is mostly unfashionable given that one: you dislike Ran, and two: you don't consider other characters that may apply to what you say as well.

The more you dislike a person, the more flaws you try to seek out... Calling her a "tramp" or a "frisky old lady" is a perfect example for that. Anyone can say "Ran is a stupid b*tch!" or "She's a fat cow!" just for the heck of it, but considering that those names come from your own hatred and do not apply to the person by any means, why say it at all? If anything, it reveals YOUR flaws more than the person whom you're verbally attacking. That being said, I think Ran dresses perfectly fine. Even if someone were to think otherwise, her intentions would not be "to attract several boys".

I totally understand what you're saying though. Some people need to realize that Gosho will, no matter what, pair Shinichi and Ran together, even though he is a troll and has the power to do anything. By the way, the thing I don't like about debates here (or debates in general) is that people never try to see the light on the other side. They are always consumed by their own opinion that they never give themselves a chance to understand the other person's point of view.

That's something philosoraptor would question. XD But I wouldn't count it as canon...

The topic isn't asking for Shinichi's opinion. It's asking for our opinion. Don't get me wrong, I completely agree that Shinichi is more compatible with Ran, but I'm not regarding what others have said as a pointless debate. If they believe that Haibara's qualities are more suitable for Shinichi, then it should be ok because it's their own personal opinion. And the compatability example you gave has little correlation with compatability in terms of relationships...

Well, I think it's a fair question to ask since it's saying "Who's better off with Shinichi?" rather than "Who will Shinichi be with in the end?" It's a matter of opinion based on the pairings' compatibility, not on the pairing's stronger history.

Btw, I think the the voice for Sera suits her well.

Haha! Yeah, I pretty much agree with everyone so far. The second one has more drama and excitement, and is much better than the first one. (Maybe I should have compared two different songs that aren't as one sided next time ) But can anyone think of an episode when the second one was used? I'm curious.
