  1. That's the thing: in the end. I DO believe Anokata WILL be the greatest criminal of DC. But in the meantime, I believe Gin is the greatest criminal so far, like I've implied multiple times already. I'm just confused as to what you are arguing for/against. I didn't say Anokata will never be considered the greatest of them all. All I'm saying is we don't know much about him yet, except for the fact that he is the boss. If the term "boss" is all you need to determine the greatest criminal, then so be it. It's all based on one's perception on things, right?
  2. I found out that today's the last day of summer.
  3. I assumed you were a girl because I noticed that girls tend to be more descriptive in their introductions/greetings, while guys tend to introduce themselves in like 2-3 sentences. Or maybe it was pure luck. :P

  4. ??? My point is that when you hear "boss of the Black Organization", anyone would assume that he is the greatest criminal despite the little info we have of him. So I don't get what you're trying to get at.
  5. I like people who are naturally funny. It seems effortless but they always seem to make my day. I was referring to Kaitou Kid's weakness of fish.
  6. I 100000% agree with you.

  8. Pencils, mainly for drawing and correcting mistakes. Death penalty or life in prison?
  9. I appreciate you for acknowledging and reinforcing your previous claims. And thanks for informing me about the benefits of the DVDs. So let's just drop it now.
  10. So are we talking about DVD vs. watching online now? Just like I thought, this discussion is leading no where. In the end, Case Closed is done for. There is even some verification on the Case Closed website by FUNimation executives. It would be better to accept the fact that it is finished than to keep your hopes up and end up being hurt in the future. I'm done talking about this.
  11. I took an important Biology test today, but all I could focus on is my runny nose. And what's worse is that the teacher didn't have any tissues left.
  12. First of all, I'm at a loss as to why you keep twisting my words. I never said I had a problem with the DVDs, in fact, I actually have Seasons 4 and 5 right now. Second of all, why not just watch the subbed episodes online rather than buying DVDs, just to have the option of watching the subbed episodes? Third of all, I'm not even sure what the importance of this discussion is.
  13. I LOVE Inuyasha! I remember watching this show ever since I was like 7. My favorite character was Sango, I don't know what it was about her, but I loved her. <3 And I remember that episode when Shinichi and Ran appeared.
  14. That's beside the point. I'm talking about the actual episodes shown, not any bonus feature in a DVD case. When you watch the subbed version rather, you can get a better view point of what the creator Gosho Aoyama is trying to pursue, while in the dubbed version, some things are being altered from the original.
  15. I wish my cold would just go away.
  16. I never said high sales would be ineffective. And based on the fact that there were BARELY any high sales of the Case Closed franchise, it's unnecessary for me to answer that question. I'm not trying to sound like a downer but the odds of a miracle happening and the odds that FUNimation resumes continuing the show are little to none. I quote-and-quote said "stuff that you cannot learn in the English dub." That means that there are some things in the subbed version that you cannot learn in the dubbed version. I never said you won't learn anything about Japanese culture in the English version.

  20. IT'S NOT HAPPENING. No matter how disappointing it is, no matter how much effort we put for the cause, I'm sorry to say this but: it's just not happening. The only way it can be made possible again is if some other group, other than FUNimation, creates their own dubs of the series. Other than that, I'd say it would be impossible unfortunately. For all those disappointed dub fans, you all should just stick to the subbed version. Even I started out watching the show in English. Then after the first 130 episodes, I transferred to subs (and I think it was a great decision). Not only can you get a better grasp of the whole situation of the show, but you may even learn about Japanese culture, language, history, etc. (stuff that you cannot learn in the English dub). I had a hard time adjusting to it at first, but just trust me, it will all be fine in the end. -words of encouragement
  21. Then again, we have limited information about Anokata. One can assume that he is the greatest criminal based off of his title "Anokata" or "Boss", which serves to be ethically appealing. But if we base our judgment on what we DO know, Gin would make the perfect candidate for the greatest criminal in Detective Conan; after all, he was the main antagonist of the story for the last 15 years. But only time will tell. When that time comes, we will see the genius behind the black organization, and we will know who the TRUE greatest criminal is.
  22. Maybe a Jesus Lizard perhaps?
