From my understanding of Ai/Shiho's personality, if she were confronted by any BO member, she would rather "submit" herself to the BO instead of fighting back against them. On multiple occasions, her allies (especially Conan and Ran) had to save her from death at the BO's hands. Furthermore, her ingestion of the antidote and reversion to her adult form is part of her plan to surrender herself to the BO. Why, then, would she attempt to "fight back" against Bourbon? I didn't necessarily say she would fight back against them, but if Amuro made the first move and pointed a gun at her, Shiho would probably buy some time by entering Room 8B. That would be the perfect time to grab the gun with the silencer and either point the gun at herself or at Amuro in order to catch him off guard, not to fight back against him and actually shoot the trigger. We also have to take into account that she DIDN'T want to participate in the Witness Protection Program when Jodie offered, which shows signs that she IS willing to fight against the BO. Even though Haibara seems to have regressed back into her paranoid state in this arc, I could only imagine that she will disregard her fear of the BO and fight back (in one form or another). If she does "submit" herself to the BO like you suggested, then there would be no character development; the inner strength she has developed throughout the course of the series would all go to waste. As for the antidote, Haibara decided to use it JUST IN CASE she is killed by the BO, but it doesn't mean there's no more fight left in her.

So I just read through File 823 again, and I noticed something interesting... On Page 12 Panel 6, the gun with the silencer is still in the victim's hands when the smokescreen goes off. Then after everyone evacuates Car 8, Shiho runs in and looks into the victim's room, which is seen on Page 15 Panel 6. It's possible that Gosho intentionally used Shiho's arm to obscure the gun (because he wants to hide the fact that it may become significant in the next chapter). What I'm thinking is that Shiho will grab the gun and use it for self-defense against Amuro. Then while he's caught of guard, Okiya will come in and pin him down or something. But regardless of what happens afterwards, I believe the gun will be of importance.

They're all awesome, especially the Gosho one! But man, your skills have improved so much. +1  Seeing your drawings makes we want to draw more DC. When was the last time I posted one? last year Lol.

[SPOILER DISCUSSION] File 818-824 (Mystery Train)
AJ M. replied to Black Demon's topic in Manga series
I think we need to keep in mind that not all Detective Conan characters are masters of disguise... And considering the major differences in stature and physique, disguising Yusaku as Shiho is so impossible that it's almost laughable. I believe the only characters who disguised themselves on the Mystery train are Akai as Okiya, Vermouth as Scar Akai, Yukiko as the mysterious woman, and Kaitou Kid as one of the Room 8D inhabitants, which is funny because I had initially thought of this after reading File 820 since I felt like they had no role in the murder case. Andou (8C) played as the culprit, Murobashi (8B) played as the victim, Noto (8A) and Idenami (8E) played as the culprit's "puppets", so I thought Komino and Sumitomo (8D) were either Kaitou Kid and his assistant or B.O. members. Turns out that the speculation about Kaitou Kid being a Room 8D inhabitant may be true, especially after reading points made by Chek and Detective Kudo. But yeah, I think having more than five disguises in a single arc would be overdoing it. -
DCTP has just released File 823! Thoughts: -Yukiko's passive aggressiveness towards Vermouth is not doing her any justice. -The "special guest" Yukiko mentioned is, of course, Okiya/Akai. I will be looking forward to seeing Vermouth's reaction once she realizes that Akai is still alive. -Itakura from a LONG time ago (the CG engineer who was developing a computer program essential to the B.O.) was apparently an acquaintance of Yukiko and Sharon when they were still actresses. -This software may be the primary reason as to why Vermouth has been keeping Conan and Haibara's degeneration a secret, perhaps because the deaging side-effect caused by APTX 4869 would corroborate some of the vital info in the program, which would probably be a breakthrough in the organization's research. -Bourbon's identity is... Amuro! (not that we're all surprised or anything) -Then there is Shiho, the damsel in distress in need of a hero (rhyming not intended). But who will be able to save her? Conan or Okiya or Ran? -And finally, here is something I brought up in the spoiler discussion: Now that Vermouth and Bourbon's presence is confirmed on the train, I wonder if there will be more appearances from other B.O. members. The reason I say this is because of what Haibara said in File 819 pg. 10: "This presence... It's not just one or two people though..." She could also be referring to Okiya and/or Sera, but I'm not too sure if that's the case.

Can you guys see the images now? Anyways, back to the case. I think the text message Ran received from Haibara's phone was genuinely sent by Haibara. If she were to transform back into Shiho, Haibara would think that it's best for Ran to stay put inside the room. Otherwise, Ran may get herself involved with the B.O. and may possibly see the older version of Haibara, which in turn can lead her into figuring out the connection between Shinichi and Conan. Haibara probably sent a message to Agasa as well (822.13 Panel 3), saying something along the lines of "whatever you do, don't let anyone out of the room." Then again, Conan could have also sent that message as well... -
There's also Jodie speaking (butchered) english in multiple episodes. Vermouth is even heard speaking english during the end of episode 272 (when talking about the meaning of "X"). EDIT: In that case...

That's what I was wondering too... Then I thought, maybe before it was pulled, the string was lying loosely on the ground (below the door knob, across the floor, up the wall, over the handrail, and above the door frame of Room 8B). That way, any passenger can walk through without trouble. But his deduction feels incomplete to me. Nothing was said about the missing uniform, the reason Conan asked the suspects to run for him, and the culprit's motive. Either something is off about Conan's deduction (and Yusaku pops out of nowhere and shows him up ) or his deduction will continue on in the next file.

File 822 has been released! Quick thoughts: -So the six-linked chain ended up being the key to solving the case (kudos to you Detective Kudo ). -Mysterious woman = Yukiko, Scar Akai on the Mystery Train = Vermouth -As for why Vermouth checked the passenger list, she most likely wanted to confirm that Yukiko was also on the train (upon hearing Yukiko uttering something to her in the corridor in File 821). -I'm still trying to figure out what Vermouth placed under the attendant's seat (possibly a bomb). -Ai is probably in safe hands with Okiya/Akai, for now... -I'm sensing 2 or 3 more files before the Bourbon Arc FINALLY ends.
