Hello all! I'm very pleased to announce that we now have new DCW-related rank icons on the forum! It's been quite a while since I've wanted to make something like that for DCW (see forum thread: www.detectiveconanworld.com/forum/topic/801-looking-for-ideas-and-talent). I finally went ahead and did something nice and simple. A first version of something that could evolve further more in the future. At least, it'll be a good upgrade to what we have right now! Best news ever for DC fans: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2015-11-03/detective-conan-anime-reveals-20-part-20th-anniversary-project/.94879 So, the movie is officially part of this 20 Bullets project...I have a feeling this means that the next movie is VERY significant. I was already super excited for it, but this is just AMAZING.

I'm actually hoping this means Movie 20 IS canon. Other long running manga/anime franchises (ex: One Piece, Naruto) will occasionally have a movie that's canon, so maybe DC will too. Like you said though, Rum will likely debut in the manga before the film's release. Well, it's to be expected since this is celebrating both the Anime's 20th anniversary and Movie 20. The movie, as always, won't really have any "significant" value since they aren't canon to begin with, though we might get a pre-canon reveal with Rum like we did with Akai for Movie 18 (I doubt that to be the case though). Looking forward to the promo tonight! I'm still a bit torn on the special from when I first heard of it. It's portrayed as a one hour special, but really it's just a two part anime original? I suppose it features a famous actor, and I'll judge it for its quality after I see it, but it seems a bit disingenuous to me. Curious to see the remaining 17 surprises. Haha, thank you! I'm glad you like the site and what everyone have worked hard to achieve here! I know I'm not that much around (mainly due to work) but I do check out on the site and the wiki whenever I can.
