Okay, I know a lot of people's New Year's already passed, but it's still New Year's Day for me! So I did a drawing for DCW, and sorry if my handwriting SUCKS. :V http://dcwuser.deviantart.com/art/Happy-New-Year-s-DCW-2771191719 points

I have two golden rules for solving mysteries which have brought me much success1. Assume things how they are told unless there are contradictions that indicate otherwise 2. Assume the simplest solution that accounts for the evidence You're afraid of being tricked, so you assume a more complicated solution. It's unnecessary. I have never had to change my theories once, even as new characters appeared and interacted because I stuck to the most basic idea the evidence covered. There are hints besides the Gundam names that hint Tohru has a darker way of doing things. He almost let an innocent suspect destroy the evidence exonerating him in order to test Kogoro. He noticed Conan disappeared at the same time as a murderer and said nothing until everyone else noticed. It is little things like that that make him different than Sera, who in order to test Conan, basically revealed the entire solution except for one little detail, so even if Conan failed, she could correct it herself, or she could guide one of the detectives to the correct solution. As for Sera, if she were a member of the Black Organization she would be more cautious in front of Conan and speaking about how much she knew in front of Mouri Kogoro. Besides the picture of Haibara reflected in Agasa's glasses, she also revealed she had information that she collected previously on Agasa (knew about Agasa is advance of his introduction) [771.4]. She revealed that she had done research on the professor to Kogoro and Ran. Also, she overtly tested Conan's deductive abilities in her introductory case. If she feared Conan because he is against the Black organization, she would have concealed that she knew who he was [768.16] and what he was capable of [769.4] in advance to ensure she had an advantage and would have also been more subtle about testing Conan's abilities to avoid making him realize that she was testing him. She wouldn't nearly directly ask if Conan was the brains behind Kogoro either.[771.4] You said Sera might get around to killing Sherry. If Sera was a loyal member of the Black Organization, she should have identified Ai was Sherry and have reported or eliminated her. As a new member, bringing in Sherry would have gained her approval and prestige, and with the favor comes more ability to do what one desires, like use resources to look for Akai. She also deleted the information she collected on Haibara. If she was a target, deleting the info doesn't make sense, even if she isn't going to do anything to Haibara right away. Also a hotel is not a very secure base of operations for a BO agent. People can enter and exit as they please as long as they have a card, which can be used to break in if copied or if Sera is impersonated. Why not use a better backstory so she work from a residence that provides more security for one's personal belongings? Why does Tohru need to find Bourbon? What is his role? What is this other organization? What are its goals? Considering we are pretty much at the end of the Bourbon arc, the answers should have been put as clues in the manga somewhere. Someone else made this point and I would like to credit them for it, but if Sera was Bourbon, after she chased Scar Akai, why would she say/think the following lines "I- I thought I saw someone I knew... There is no way though is there" That seems to be strongly implying that she thinks there is no way she could have seen Akai, but Bourbon thinks Akai must be alive because the only one who could kill Akai is him. There was an entire case that took place in the past which gave really important clues that Shinichi met Vermouth before, like the serial killer and the Angel thing... All of this was well before Vermouth's reveal. Nothing like that has happened in this arc, and we are quickly running out of time. Sayla wasn't Char's enemy although she was certainty conflicted by him wanting to kill Amuro. She loved him, and tried to keep the Federation from attacking him several times. Why did she approach Conan then in the first place? She seemed to know a lot, had done the research on all the people close to Conan, and asks the same kinds of questions Eisuke did when he was trying to confirm Conan is Shinichi. Nowhere does it suggest she knows Haibara is a target of the Black Organization. Sure she finds Haibara interesting for some reason (explained below), but I don't see evidence for Sera even knowing anything about the Black Organization. In case you are wondering why I think Sera finds Conan and Haibara interesting, it is because she got this picture when it was inadvertently sent home with Akai's things after he died. She traced those pictured as best she could because she wanted to figure out why Akai died (or if he is really dead.) Okiya followed Jodie as she was in the department store (and may have left her the warning on the coaster), stopped her from chasing Scar Akai into the scope of the BO, and that was after he went to check out Teito bank because he saw Scar Akai on the news. Okiya can't do much about Scar Akai anyhow, not knowing where he is going to pop up next. The best he can do is to keep a close eye on Haibara... and then we saw those listening devices a while later.I already have an explanation about why Okiya would be worried about Sera, knowing she is her sister.2 points

This is a gift to Lashedcheek! ^___^ I want to thank her for being so kind and generous! An example would be that when my secret Santa didn't create me something, she offered to do something for me instead despite probably being busy. It's nice to know there is such a thoughtful person existing on this earth. :') This isn't really a drawing ....>___> but I'm not really sure where to put this, so I hope this is okay ^ ^; oh, and Happy New Years~!!2 points

Dedicated to Miwako sensei, who is teaching me right now... OK, so this is just drawing tutorial from a beginner... I'm going to self study (with some help of few people in DCW) on drawing so they are not going to look like something I usually have done, which is just looking at a pic and copying.... I think that I should go in-depth in drawing. So, for fun, let's draw Conan with my current knowledge of basics.. 1. Eye. well actually you can skip to #14 to start off with the face. All you have to do is an arc like that easy right?... actually it took me a while to make that arc;;; lol;;;... 2. We know eyes don't over flow. so bottom line.... i'm not good with words. correct me. 3. OK now we're getting into it! A circle. This is how I normally draw DC style eye. 4. Another circle in the circle with a rectangle right next to it. that sounded funny. anyways, don't forget a little line under rectangle. 5. Shading~ lol my fav part as always. It's normally darker around the rectangle except for the bottom since it's normally colored in animes, or white(also gray/shaded) in manga. so light shade under~ 6. Then other eye. this is 3/4 view, so it might be hard to draw at first. it took me 3 pages of practice with out guide line. Guide line is shown in #7 7. Nose + Mouth. (It's not continued from #6, meaning I drew the eyes again.) they are not that hard. DC style nose is a bit tricky though. Anyways, when you have a guide line like as shown, just draw a nose like a slanted L along the middle line. 8. Then make a diamond, rhombus, kite, square, parallelogram, or what ever you all it. 9. Lastly, just erase the line above the weird shape nose. oh but be sure to leave a little bit. Gosho tend to have a little line on the nose... 10. Ear. From #14 (I knew I should have done the face first...) At the jaw, make a curve what I like to call a tea cup handle. lol... yea.. 11. Drawing ear takes some time, not much at all. Idk how to explain, but take a picture of your ear (or get a pic) and look at it. it helps even though it looks like there are a lot of curves. you can make it simple like how I drew it. Practice~ 12. Inner cureve looks similar to the top curve you made in #11. Simple yes? ^^ 13. Shading~! of course you can't see the ear hole, but if you study the ears, your own or not, it gets shaded closer to the hole. Cool. 14. Face. Takes time. yes. but it gets easier. I call this a Circle and a pentagon jaw... because it looks like it. Notice the midde line. it's mainly used for eye proportioning and nose just like in #7. 15. Woot~! By using #1~13, you can get to here! 16. Hair, I haven't gone there yet, but I can kinda draw Conan's hair and Haibara's hair. Conan's hair is a bit difficult when it comes to bangs. but if you study and practice, you'll get it~! which took me months... . but I'm sure you'll do fine. The reason the hair is difficult is because many (as many people mentions) people tend to forget about the skull. our hair doesn't grow from our brain, neiher we have deforemed skull. so there should be a space between hair and the head outline. 17. WAIT! If there's no Glasses, Ran might gt suspicious again~! LOL, jk. Just add glasses. easy right? I just finished it off with shading... I can't draw bodies yet... sorry... I'm still working on the face/head/hair. ^^;; If you want I can draw and upload if you want some part detailed. I think I should upload another drawing with the ear and eyes carefully explained as well as the head... ....? wha- you still reading this? lol jk. I love you all for reading it. ... if you did, that is... Edit: Top line an few errors....1 point

It's obvious because this is the final hint, like Eisuke's leukemia and Jodie's memories of Vermouth. If you didn't get it before then, then those clues should put you on the right track for sure. Good to see you have came over from the dark side, Glass Heart. +1 for the moshpit.1 point

I really hope to see more Akemi/Akai in the upcoming chapters. >w< ((Note: Yes. I know he had long hair when he dated Akemi. Just pretend they're both dead in this picture so I can get away with it. XD)) BONUS:1 point

This couple is strange because it appears at first to be the very competent woman lawyer and the incompetent man detective, while in fact Kogoro is far from being a bad detective. Kogoro is not as intelligent as Shinichi, Heiji or Masumi but, when he acts seriously, his reasonings are clearly superior to those of the police. He's able to make reasonings that even the police (especially Megure) aren't able to follow, even though he needs Conan's help to dodge the "tricks" of the culprits. And, even though he makes mistakes in his reasonings, he's still one of the most determined investigators of the series: he always investigates thoroughly a case until he honestly thinks he has solved it and he's more interested to see the culprit being exposed than he is to be paid (he never turned down money when he's offered but, when a crime happens randomly nearby, he never asks for it and investigates for free). When we consider it, it's a quality that few characters of the series possess in fact (mainly the high-school detectives). I think, if Kogoro was more often serious, their couple would have been the most dangerous of the whole series, the perfect combination of the investigation and the law.1 point
