  5. @BK: Manang, check this out: A Magician and His Puppy -dedicated to MM and MKK- A magician and his puppy Were strolling down the city Telling jokes all day And laughing all the way. They bumped into Nobody And talked to no one (like crazy) Suddenly the magician smelled something funny And screamed, "Ay, tumae si Doggie!" [English Translation: Oops, my Doggie pooped]

  8. Was it ever said why Ran chose (or was forced to) live with Kogoro rather than with Eri? It would seem that (before episode 1) living with Eri would have been a much wiser decision because Korogo is... well... in the nicest terms I think think of... a lazy, stupid, drunkard. In the timeline between their divorce and episode 1 it seems like Eri only became more popular as a lawyer whlie Kogoro became less popular as a detective. It would make more sense for Ran to live with Eri because she was, and probably still, more wealthy. Did I miss something in the series or was this never fully explained?

  9. Oh, and, though this is a bit random, the reason why the BO mostly appear in the winter time has nothing to do with their clothing, but more because of symbolism. The four seasons represent the four main parts of life: - Spring: birth - Summer: living - Autumn: dying - Winter: death These themes appear in literature a lot, as long as you keep an eye out. The reason why the BO appear during the winter has nothing to do with the story plot. It's just Gosho's way of tying in the BO with death using symbolism.

  10. The other thing about the BO is they tend to appear in winter months. (with exceptions of course) This is probably because if they come out at any other time of year without air conditioning or lurking in shaded areas, they pass out from heat exhaustion. This is because their clothing is too thermally insulating: long sleeved black formal suits and a bullet roof vest on top of that. Only the female operatives are free to roam in warm daylight hours because they can safely escape the heat by wearing skintight catsuits.
