hi guys. this just came to my mind while ago. Why not try deducing contest here? I mean, in different perspectives or aspects or fields. The one who win may have the title of "Detective of the Year" or "The Smartass who kicks everyone's butt", something like that. But of course, they cannot win that easily. They should undergo a lot of tests. Every test, there may be three or two winners, then they earn a certain point. For example: The points required for the title: "Smartest Someone(only eg okay?)" is 10000 points, and they continue to win, and they get 10thou points, then the title is theirs. But, when the title is already occupied, they must strive for another title. Of course the admins won't tell us how many points, we just need to win every tests. Take note: Once two or more players got the 10000 points at the same time(i doubt it'll happen, but just in case), they should have a timebreaker, and the admin will announce the day they should be online so they could have a online match. Of course it will include the way we speak(or type), and being natural. I bet the admin can detect those. Also, cheating will be detected. Context Clues, my friends. ) Computer maniacs can detect copy paste ideas. Just rely to your stock knowledge, like Shinichi and heiji If you have questions, ask me now1 point

The rain slides down the windows of the Porsche. "When is he even coming?" Gin wondered. Gin had been waiting for 3 hours now, and he was getting irritated. His eyes darted around again, searching for people. He was still, on guard, as if a bomb may go off if he moved even an inch. Then, Gin heard the roaring of a car, like a lion, getting closer. Instead of playing the role of the prey and running, Gin smoothly reached for his pistol and placed it in his lap. The lion turned out to be a green Jaguar, which pulled up obnoxiously next to Gin's. The roar calmed down into a small grumble, muffled. The window of the Jaguar opened slowly, and inside was a man wearing sunglasses. In response, Gin delicately pulls the switch, and the window slowly creaked down. While the window went down, his finger curled around the trigger of the pistol like a rattlesnake. He pointed the pistol out the open window, out of view from the man with the sunglasses in the Jaguar. "Sorry to keep you waiting," the man remarks, taking off his sunglasses, revealing his blue eyes, which seemed to be able to pierce the soul. "The promise was for 7. You came at 10. What kept you?" "That's something I would wish not to say. Anyways, why did you call me, the Red Hawk?" Gin folded back into a relaxed position. He pulled out the cigarette lighter from the dashboard, and pulled out a cigarette, the dim light from the lighter nudging the darkness of the night back. The lighter came to the cigarette, and went back into the dashboard. Gin placed the cigarette in his mouth, took a small puff, and sighed. "I have a little request for you." He took the cigarette out of his mouth, and faced the Hawk directly into the eyes, as if in a staring contest. Wordlessly, Gin pulled out an envelope from his pocket, and gave it to the Hawk. The Hawk took the envelope with two fingers, and slowly opened it. From the envelope, he pulled out a small picture, and only then did he take his eyes off Gin and onto the picture. He smirked. "You can kill all these people, but not a kid?" Gin coldly stared at the Hawk. "What do you expect? He is a detective." "You're lucky he didn't tattle you and your organization to the police," the Hawk remarked snidely. Gin loosened his composure and said, "Who would believe him? The police are like the prey, lost in the endless fog. We are the predator, with the scent of the prey already found in the fog, and ready to strike." The Hawk smirked again. "Anyway, you want me to find this person, and finish the job that your little poison didn't do?" He crossed his arms, as if he just won an argument. Gin stiffened. "You know a lot about us, don't you?" The Hawk simply grinned in response. Then his composure became more businesslike. "Don't worry. I keep the information of my clients secret." With that, he closed the window, and turned on the engine of his Jaguar. He threw the car into gear and sped away, his Jaguar making a cleavage through the curtain of droplets. Gin started his car as well, the engine rumbling to life. "I will find you, Kudo Shinichi. And you…Sherry…" Revised version's up! Enjoy!1 point

Ran coughed again. She didn’t see her kidnapper; in fact, she never woke up while she was being kidnapped. When she did awake, she found herself in a large empty building. The only door out was full of dents, ones made by Ran’s attempt to escape. Just then, she heard a harsh scratching sound outside the door. When the noise stopped, the door opened slowly. Ran charged and was about to kick who ever was entering, but… “Ran-neechan?” a voice said. Ran froze in her path. “Conan-kun? What was he doing here?” she thought in a panic. “Conan-kun?” Ran cried in response. The mysterious figure merely turned around and closed the door, leaving Ran feeling worried and tired. She kicked the door again, but whatever was in front of the door was back in place. “Shinichi…save me!” she thought in desperation. It was the announced day of Kaitou Kid’s heist of the Sun’s Radiance. The night was calm and cool, but Conan was in no mood to relax. He was on full guard, looking out for the Black Organization and Ran’s kidnapper… He scanned the dome. It was about 30 meters high, and was made entirely of glass. Within the glass was water, and within the water were many kinds of exotic fish. The fish were swimming around, one occasionally giving Conan an odd stare, as if seeing him going to his death. Around the dome was a ring of police cars. Around each car were policemen. For each policeman, there were 2 eyes darting around and scanning everything in sight like little lasers. There were also four policemen that were guarding the opposite ends of the dome, where the entrances were. Outside the police car ring were various cars. Within those cars were Kaitou Kid fans that the police did not let through.Conan scanned the cars parked outside. He saw a green Jaguar, a Viper, a silver Honda, and many other cars parked outside. However, Conan failed to notice the black Porsche 356A parked outside the ring of police. The dome’s interior was rather barren. The only thing of notice inside was the glass case that was holding the Sun’s Radiance within itself. Around the case were four policemen, and there were several policemen and Inspector Nakamori inside. Jirokichi was inside as well, laughing his head off. Conan checked his clock – which told him it was 6:30 P.M – again. “Only 30 minutes to go,” he thought, but his real thoughts was what would happen at 9… Conan thought about Kid’s letter again: At 7 o’clock Saturday, the guards of the water kingdom will fall asleep. While the guards have their nap, I will appear and take the Sun’s Radiance. The letter made little sense to him. The water kingdom could mean the dome, but how could Kid make all the policemen fall asleep? Like on cue, the time hit 7 o’clock, and part of the dome exploded. From the holes in the dome, the water and its inhabitants fell out. At the same time, a mysterious gas starting leaking from the floor ofthe dome. Nakamori immediately called, “Don’t breathe the gas! It’s sleeping gas! Get out of the dome!” With that order, everyone in the dome quickly ran out, holding his or her breath. They could only watch as the gas concealed the case from view. Then, they heard the case shatter. “Damn it!” Nakamori cried out in anger. He knew Kid took the jewel, but how could he take it, surrounded by sleeping gas? Meanwhile, the Kid was having a great time. The heist of the Sun’s Radiance went smooth. He turned his white wings – his glider, and felt as he could fly. Of course, he also fell to the ground like a shot bird when the sniper hit. Conan heard the sniper, and ran off in that direction before he could fully register what was happening. “The Black Organization…but why him?” He traced the Kid to be about 500 yards away, in the park. He quickly ran off. Nakamori frowned when he heard the sniper. He quickly shouted to his men, “Where did that shot come from?! Track it!”. The policemen quickly ran off in different directions like idiots. The park offered excellent shielding against the moonlight, making the park feel dark. One could not see their hand in the darkness. Conan found the Kid, bleeding heavily from a shot in the chest in a bush. He quickly cleared the bush and pulled the Kid out. The Kid was unconscious, from the wound or the ground impact, he didn’t know. Conan listened again. He heard it, the crunching sound of footsteps. He quickly ran off and hid behind a tree. And from the wall of trees came a single entity. Gin. And his glare was one of a predator that caught his prey. “It’s been a long time, Kudo Shinichi. You have caused us much trouble.” He quickly pulled out his pistol. “Honestly, I didn’t expect you to be challenging us in the open.” “Kudo Shinichi?” Conan thought. “I see, they thinkhe’s me…” Gin walked up to the Kid with careful steps, as if the park was mined. His pistol went directly to Kid’s forehead. “And with this, the great detective falls. Again.” And the pistol fired. Conan looked in horror as more blood spurted from the shot. Gin quickly turned around and left, as his job was done. Conan quietly went up to Kid. All signs of life were gone, but a faint smile was dangling on his lips, as if he had an untold secret. Conan knew Kid wasn’t smiling before. He then walked away. He heard the police marching over, but knew it was hopeless. They couldn’t help. “Another person dead! Damn!” The story of Kid’s death was all over the news the following day. Of course, the police found out Kid’s identity. Kuroba Kaito – high school troublemaker. Megure, however, had other cases. As per his orders, no one in the police spoke of the culprit behind the bombing of Agasa’s house. There were traces of fingerprints over in various places that managed to survive; in particular a bomb that failed to go off. The fire department quickly sent the bombs and evidence to forensics. Megure remembered the day the forensics quietly asked Megure to come. He also remembers the moment the forensics told him the culprit, and the utter disbelief. Takagi walked up to him. “Are you OK, Inspector?” Megure groaned. “Takagi. Remember, tell no one that he is the culprit. Tell no one!” “OK, sir…but you’ve been saying that for a while now.” With that, Takagi left. Megure turned around. The scar around his hat was burning, like a forewarning of what would come. “Kudo-kun…what…exactly happened?” Yeah, I rushed it. It isn't very good. But I finished it. Comment please below!1 point

“Dad!” Ran was trying to wake up Mouri – drunk on the sofa – with no luck. “Why in the world did you drink so much beer anyway?!”. You see, on Mouri’s desk was a mountain of beer cans. “Couldn’t help it…new client…gave…100 million yen…such easy case…Ran,” Mouri grumbled in his drunken stupor. That huge number shocked both Ran and Conan – who was merely twitching after seeing the mountain. “100…million?!” they shouted in disbelief. “Well, you could use that money to something…better then beer,” Conan thought. Externally, he said, “Hey, who was the client?” “The client? Ummm…oh yeah, he was wearing a black hat…he was wearing all black…yawn…” And with that, Mouri rolled off the sofa and crashed on the floor. There, he resumed his nap. Ran resumed trying to wake up Mouri, with no use – he was out cold (from the impact or the beer, she didn’t know). “A man in black…huh?” She was thinking about Akai, but Conan – in shock – was thinking of another person. That person was…Gin. “What did you say?! You aren’t lying, are you?” Agasa was in shock when Conan told him of Gin’s appearance at the detective agency. “Ssshhh! You don’t want her...” Conan began… “Were you trying to hide something from me again?” Haibara, who recently came up from downstairs, was wearing a cold façade. “Ah…not quite…” Conan said, scrambling for the right words. “So, Gin (Haibara froze in shock here) came to the detective agency, and paid 100 million yen to Mouri?” Agasa said. “It seems so. Although I’m not yet sure why he came – he could’ve just went bang and killed us all.” Conan said. “That isn’t Gin’s nature. Gin is too cautious…too dangerous…” Haibara mumbled. And with that statement, Conan, Haibara, and Agasa came to the same conclusion. “Anyway, what are you going to do?” Agasa said. “Well, the Black Organization now knows my identity…they’ll do anything to make “Edogawa Conan” disappear as inconspicuous as possible.” He paused. Conan knew that he had two choices – come to school, and risk the chance of being killed, or stay home, and confirming his identity to Black Organization. He frowned as his mind battled between the two decisions; his sharp mind analyzing the pros and cons of each situation. “We’ll wait this out,” Conan finally said. “We’ll continue our schedules as normal.” “Are you sure?! You can get killed!” Agasa exclaimed. “Well, what do you think, Ai…” He turned towards Haibara, only to see that she was gone –back downstairs, he thought. “Well, in that case, keep Haibara home. I’ll go solo and see if the Black Organization will show themselves.” Conan said. He couldn’t cause more people to be in danger because of the Black Organization. Especially not Haibara… Agasa and Conan continued their conversation, not knowing that their conversation was being tapped into… Meanwhile, Kaito Kuroba was reading the newspaper, and saw another one of Jirokichi’s challenges on the front page. He grinned. “That old geezer never gives up, does he?” he thought, then stopped. He read that part over again. Then he flipped over and read an article. He started getting a bit scared. “Well, that can make it…interesting.” The part he read over was: I challenge you to steal the Sun’s Radiance from the newly constructed Beika Aquarium Dome. The article he read was: Beika Aquarium Dome to be loaded with exotic fish tomorrow. Maybe it was fate, but there were other people that were reading the newspaper at the same time… It was May 3rd. Conan was outside Teitan Elementary taking a big sigh of relief. The Black Organization hadn’t shown up; in fact he hadn’t noticed a single suspicious man outside the school. Right then, his cell phone rang. He quickly took the phone out of his pocket, and delicately – as if the phone was a bomb that could go off at any second – pressed the call button. “Hey, Cool Kid!” Jodie’s sudden greeting shocked Conan. “Jodie-sensei,why did you call me?” Conan wasn’t particularly anxious to be caught talking to a FBI agent on the phone right now. “We recently found suspicious activity around the Beika Aquarium Dome – the recent one, you see. Lately we’ve found cars parking outside, and leave after a few minutes. One of them was a Porsche 356A.” “Porsche 356…A. Gin’s car?” Conan asked, although the answer was obvious. “We fear so. Even more coincidental is Kaitou Kid’s announced theft date. It seems more and more cars are approaching as that date approaches.” “Yeah. I think that Kid’s announced date is about 2 days from now…Saturday, at 7 in the afternoon.” “For now, we are planning to place FBI agents around the area on Saturday. We want you there, if you don’t mind, ‘Kid Killer’. “Uh…but…” Conan started to object. “Great. We’ll see what the Organization is planning.” “But…wait…”Conan started, but it was too late. Jodie already hung up, leaving him talking to a dial tone. He sighed. He knew what Haibara would say: “No! You can’t go! It’s too dangerous!” That night, Conan had a nightmare. He was in a pit of darkness, sinking. Ran was trying to help him up, but she fell in and starting to sink in. Conan tried tohelp, but his arms were unmovable. The sinking stopped, as to make Conan see Ran sinking, while he was helpless to do anything…he could only watch…only stare… On the other hand, Kogoro was having a pleasant dream…of women in the onsen… The next day, Mouri was going nuts. He was turning everything over; sofas, beds, mats, tables; with a controlled, yet crazed mania. “Probably looking for a 10 yen coin that he dropped, I bet,” Conan thought. He went up to Mouri, who was currently looking under his desk for something, and asked, “What are you looking for?” Mouri barely stopped for a second and said, without a breath, “Ran! Ran is missing!” What?! Ran is missing? Conan was thrown into panic, but quickly tried to calm down. He didn’t want to make a pointless search like the drunkard was doing right now. He went outside, and noticed a letter, oddly placed in the mailbox as if on purpose to make it stand out. Conan pulled it out, and opened the letter. He read the letter once, then felt his whole body go cold… The following words were written in red ink, or blood: I have kidnapped your princess. If you want her to remain alive, and not ridded with bullets, then find me. I will be waiting at the Beika Aquarium Dome this Saturday, on 9:00 P.M… The Seven Year Old Heisei Holmes “The Seven Year Old Heisei Holmes…how…who…” Conan thought with distress. This decision to go to Kaitou Kid’s theft location, or not to go he could no longer make alone. He quickly ran to Agasa’s house, covered in sweat. He was shocked – no, beyond shock by what he saw. Agasa’s house was completely annihilated, to the point where only ruins remained. He quickly ran to Inspector Yuminaga, who was around at the time. “What happened here?!” Conan demanded. Yuminaga turned around and his eyes twinkled, like Conan was either a pleasant sight, or a delicious meal, perhaps. “Oh, it’s the boy from Mouri’s place! You should have seen the explosions. They were huge!” “Explosions?! What caused them?” Conan said, stress building. “The explosions were caused by several bombs that were set to midnight. The bombs were planted on the walls. Oh yeah, there were two people (oh no, Conan thought with despair) that were inside during the explosions. An old man and a young girl barely managed to escape. One lost consciousness while shielding the girl from rubble; he hasn’t woken up yet. The girl hit the wall with her head by the force of the explosion. Both are in critical condition.” Conan walked away. His fears were true; the Black Organization is on the move. And then, all of a sudden, a man came from the back. and knocked Conan to the side. The man stopped, and his eyes showed recognition. He wordlessly took a letter from his pocket, and dropped it in front of Conan. Then, he ran away before Conan could fully register what happened. “What’s up with this guy?” Conan thought. He looked at the letter, and opened it. His body froze up when he read it. It was the same person, same writing, and the words were in red ink, as if to mimic blood again. Happy birthday, little prince. I hold the key that can save your friends or destroy them. Are you ready to cross blades to get this key? The Seven Year Old Heisei Holmes There is no Kid, or FBI stakeout this chapter. 1. Super Smash Brothers Melee (GC) -- This was a great fighting game that was the life of the party 2. Soul Calibur II (GC) -- It was a very technical game that required a lot of focus and planning, which made it fun 3. Pokemon Pearl (DS) -- It really was a great addition to an already great franchise. I have put more hours into this game (347 as of now) than any other game I've played. 4. Star Fox Adventures (GC) -- Some say this was the low point of the Star Fox franchise. I say it was the high point. Yes, the story plot sounds stupid at first, but think about Detective Conan. Detective Conan's story plot sounded stupid at first didn't it? 5. Super Smash Brothers Brawl (Wii) -- Like Melee, this was a great fighting game. Unlike Melee, this game is only fun with friends.1 point
