Tokyo Station in 2004, pre-renovation.
Tokyo Station in the anime, post-renovation.

Tokyo Station (東京駅 Tōkyō-eki?), sometimes also called Tohto Station (東都駅 Tōto-eki?) in Gosho Aoyama's stories, is a real building, the central train station of Tokyo and a historical site in the style of Taishō architecture. It's located in the Marunouchi District of Chiyoda Ward and seems to be relatively close to Beika and Yaoya in Gosho's works. It also just appeared with its pre-renovation look in these so far.
