Conan Edogawa and Ai Haibara

Sometimes everyone think both Conan and Haibara have a special relation and friendship that nobody would understand. This is particularly true for members of the Detective Boys who often try to question their relationship.

Relationship analysis

In some episodes and manga chapters, Haibara would give hint to Conan about her feelings towards him. But in the end, she would always tell him that it's a lie. Even though everybody including The Detective Boys, Sonoko, Ran and the others know about Haibara's secret feelings toward Conan, he never realizes it.

It's also been shown that Conan has a strong feeling to protect Haibara if anything happens to her. For example on the episode where Haibara stayed in a bus that had a bomb in it, Conan immediately saved her and told her to accept fate and never turn back.

Episode 335-336

In episode 335, Conan's mother, Yukiko, tells him that he seems to be popular with girls. Conan then asks if she's talking about Ayumi and she replies saying that not only her but Haibara too. "She's looked your way about 10 times already" she says and continues: "There's only two reasons for a girl to look at a boy like that: he has something on his face or she likes him". Conan later tests Haibara by asking her if he has something on his face. She then simply "answers back" with a confused look.

Episode 230

Haibara was afaid of Vermouth, so she wanted to stay in the bus and die, but conan saved her by grabbing her and jumping out of the bus before it explodes jodie Starling said he was like james bond

Epsiode 340

she dreamed about conan in 3 different scenes. and when she woke up, she said that if she was really suspected then she wouldn't have the time to have that kind of dream(about conan, cuz she loves him) then she saw blood drooping from Hakase's table which he is taking a nap on(which is actually tomato juice) she was scared for a second
