Conan then reveals that there was a message on the ribbon of the package. Conan explains Toji sent the message to Azusa in order to take her phone which holds a photo confirming Sugihito's allibi. Azusa finds her brother in a warehouse and is knocked unconscious by Toji. Toji confesses the murder and reveals it was to cover up the money he lost in the stock market. Toji attempts to force Sugihito to commit suicide in exchange of his sister's life. At that moment, Sato arrives and arrests him. After the case, the police detectives start coming to Café Poirot frequently because they like the restaurant's special pasta, which bothers Kogoro. | ||

Takagi returns revealing Azusa escaped from him and is deduced to be meeting her brother.
