Situation

Conan, Ran, and Sonoko are in the shopping mall, where they meet model girls promoting a new toy seal. Later, they heard a scream, and found one of the models is dead.

Accident? or Murder?

Location: Shopping mall storage room

Suspects: Mina Komoro, Mai Fukamoto, and Yuko Oyodo

After hearing a loud scream, Sonoko, Conan and Ran head to the storage room only to find Mai Fukamoto pointing towards Ayaka's corpse.

After early investigations by the police, a letter addressed to Mai and was found. They also found Mai's brooch near the crime scene. All suspicion goes towards Mai, even though she denies it. Conan then investigate and found out the real culprit.

The real culprit is Yuko Oyodo. Ayaka and Yuko had a plan to kill Mai Fukamoto, but it was a setup by Yuko to kill Ayaka. She wanted to get revenge on Ayaka because Ayaka stole the man she loved and later dumped him, causing him to suicide. Later at the end of the episode, Conan, Sonoko and Ran are promoting the seal toy.
