Situation
Ran, Conan, and Kogoro are at a movie premier of Jinnai King of Death VIII. After the show they see Harnison greeting fans, he plays Jinnai in the movie. Then Kogoro is spotted by Harnison's wife who shows him a death threat that says Harnison will die at midnight just like in the movie. His wife is worried but harnison brushes it off. Reporters and Kogoro have a stake out when Jinnai appears and makes for Harnison's room. They arrive by elevator and when Kogoro comes out he trips on vinyl tape. They hear a scream and Harnisons dead with a bullet to the head.
