Mrs. Shimomura (下村 Shimomura) is a character in the anime franchise Detective Conan.
Background
Mrs. Shimomura is an old lady living in Beika near Beika Park. She owns a small shop named Tobacco Shimomura (タバコしもむら Tabako Shimomura) and the apartments above it. She was a key witness in an illegal bomb case since the tenant in one of the apartments above was found out to be a bombs-maker. Unbeknownst to her, her shop was also used by criminals as a drop-off location, which was notably used by Nobuo Kadokura and his gang.
