The brothers committed the robbery by disguising as the vehicle drivers in advance.

Culprits: Two singing brothers wearing sunglasses disguied in the securities

Kogoro asked the singing brothers to the armadillo but Conan founded the armadillo robbers they flee with the armored vehicle.

They were also the ones who stole the armadillo and used it to bait the real armored vehicle drivers. Their plan was foiled when they went inside Birinmon fish market and had water thrown on them from the wholesalers, which caused them to lose control of the vehicle and dive head first in the river. The armadillo was retrieved and it was revealed that the barmaid wanted to use it as a sideshow animal, causing Kogoro, Conan and the armadillo to freak out and escape her.
