Yutaka Abe (阿部 ゆたか Abe Yutaka?) was born on February 24th in Shinjo, Yamagata Prefecture, Japan. He currently lives in Tokyo.[1]

History

Yutaka Abe is one of Gosho Aoyama's assistants and has done work for the Detective Conan Special series alongside Denjiro Maru. He began working on manga in 1979 for Hitomi and then at Nakayoshi (publishers of Sailor Moon, Goldfish Warning, etc.) in 1981, before leaving in 1985 to create his own works.[2]

He has also drawn illustrations for many Detective Conan novels.
