Atsushi Nigorikawa (濁川 敦 Nigorikawa Atsushi?) is a Japanese animator and technical director. He takes part in the production of Detective Conan anime and movies.

Biography

Atsushi Nigorikawa graduated from the manga research club of Musashino Art University, where he was an underclassman of Rokuro Shinofusa[1]. He first joined animation studio Nippon Animation[1]. He was first active between 1998 and 1999 as a storyboard artist and production assistant for long-running anime series Chibi Maruko-chan[1]. From then onwards, Nigorikawa landed contracts regularly for animated series[1]. He became known for his storyboarding in Naruto between 2002 and 2007, and later Naruto: Shippuden until 2017[1]. His most notable episodes were episodes 246, 355 and 363[1].

He first became involved with Detective Conan in 2016, becoming a technical director in movie 20, The Darkest Nightmare. He performed the same task in the following movie, The Crimson Love Letter. In late 2016, he was also a technical director for the TV special Episode One: The Great Detective Turned Small. Following his work in The Crimson Love Letter, Nigorikawa has not been involved with Detective Conan thereafter.
