TML Posted September 5, 2010 Report Posted September 5, 2010 Does anyone here remember the Latin American dubbed version of DC that ran from 1998 to 2000? That version used hispanic names for the characters, but it seems funny that they would use the Anglo-sounding name of "Bobby Jackson" for Shinichi. Additionally, "peripheral" characters had multiple dubbed names (Heiji had four or five, Sonoko had three or four, and both Kudo parents had two).

Japanese Detective Conan people made funimation change the names to make it more american like.
