I think it's the chapter when Jodie took Haibara (who was really Conan). After 'Araide' took off his mask, which revealed to be Vermouth in disguise... the chapter is... in the four hundreds... and Akai... I think when Ran and Conan met him when he went out of the Telephone box (???), and Ran said he 'I don't think he is a bad guy though... because I saw him with the FBIs...' well, something along those lines... and Akai and Conan became allies was in chapter before 600... I'm not exactly sure though... but I'll check again later .
