Wildheart888 Posted August 9, 2011 Report Posted August 9, 2011 Hmm...just this thing that always annoys me..in the search box, you're not allowed to search any word that has less than four letters....just putting it out there...x) 1
IdentityUnknown Posted August 9, 2011 Report Posted August 9, 2011 It is annoying, but it clarifies the search engine and makes it so that you won't get words like "it" which appear in almost every post (or at least I'm guessing that's why).
Wildheart888 Posted August 9, 2011 Author Report Posted August 9, 2011 Ohh...I see..but I still don't love it..O.o
IdentityUnknown Posted August 9, 2011 Report Posted August 9, 2011 Neither do I and every now and then I forget.
Wildheart888 Posted August 9, 2011 Author Report Posted August 9, 2011 Yeah me too... but then people can just not type those words, right? like what if you have a three letter word that's..important? Oh well...
Vi Graythorn Posted August 9, 2011 Report Posted August 9, 2011 does the search box help cuz every time im try its like no results found
Chekhov MacGuffin Posted August 10, 2011 Report Posted August 10, 2011 The search box is terrible to the point of being unusable in about 75% of the cases I want to use it. That three letter word restriction is really annoying. Even if you use uncommon words or quoted phrases it fails. I'd rather see it replaced with a google/other search function site search instead.
Wildheart888 Posted August 10, 2011 Author Report Posted August 10, 2011 Agreed. It didn't work the other time I used it either...x(
CarpetCrawler Posted August 11, 2011 Report Posted August 11, 2011 This is how it works in most forums, unfortunately. We'll have to wait until Maurice returns and see what he says.
ShiroKuro Posted December 14, 2011 Report Posted December 14, 2011 Sometimes its a bit hard to sum up what you're looking for in 4 letters T.T but yeah it help to get rid of the "it"
