So I get tackled to the ground, end up paying for a room, and might die? Great~....

Listening to the guy, they tried to run but the two teens were still blocking the door. Misaki's eyes looked around for an escape route. Her eyes landed on the open window and a tree, and with a rather cat-like grin, charged for it. She yelled, "Come on!" as she raced to the window.
Using the window sill as a pushing off point, she jumped over to the tree that was next to their motel and landed on a branch. After her came Legend, who was as successful as her. Finally, Aeyra went. But as she was reaching for the branch, her head began to throb and blurred her vision. Her hand tried to grab a branch that wasn't there and began to fall. "AEYRA," they screamed as they tried to grab her hand. But no avail, as both missed. Misaki, the smart person she is, did the first thing she could think of, and that was to jump out and fall too. She quickly pulled her into her arms and twisted her body so that her back was to the ground. They hit the ground and let out a whine/scream of pain. It hurt a lot more for her since she was the one who took more of the impact. "Misaki," Aeyra asked frantically, "Are you ok?!"
She responded, "I'm fine, what about you?"
"I'll be fine."
"Good."
Legend climbed out of the tree and scolded, "Misaki! Why did you do that?!"
Misaki answered, "I'm the only one who isn't hurt. If Aeyra had taken that impact full-on, she'd be a lot worse off than she was before, and that was rather bad as it is."
She got up and quickly moved her joints before continuing, "Anywho, we better scram for now. We need to decide on our next move."
The gunshots from the two teens encouraged them to do so. The three ran as fast as they could until they reached somewhere to rest. She said, "For now, let's go to my uncle's house. He's probably at work by now, so he won't question you two."
