Japanese all the way! Not only do I get to learn some Japanese along the way, the English subs are in such good quality that you can still appreciate a lot of the puns that would not have otherwise be conveyed through a dub. Especially when there's a lot of wordplay involved. Also, after watching it in Japanese for a while, the English dubs just sounded weird to me. And then this summer I had the chance to see it dubbed in Malay which just cracked me up. I actually swapped the language to watch the show in Japanese because I was laughing too hard otherwise!

Hi all. I'm hopelessidiot, commonly known as Lessi in DCTP. I'm originally from Malaysia and now spend most my time in Australia. I've been a DC fan for about 3 years, but I have a bad memory so I can't remember a lot of the details so forgive me if I forget something or mistake something really obvious when I post. Oh and before any of you ask/comment. I know I'm not a hopeless idiot (though I do say idiotic things at times). It's just one of those random, joking nicknames my best friend called me back in high school XD I called her impossible moron

It does feel like time passes really slowly, though it must be following some sort of timeline since they have moved from season to season. For example, at about Episode 310 it's definitely winter but recently, they've mentioned that it's October (Eri's birthday) so winter will be coming along again soon. It was also possibly autumn that the series started since Shinichi and Ran were wearing jackets already, meaning they should have at least progressed a grade. There's likely other proof of this but that's all I can remember off the top of my head. I've just put this phenomenon as Gosho wanting to ensure he's able to keep the manga going for as long as he likes.

Hmm...And I suppose any paperwork would show that the drug wasn't meant for something like euthanasia or anything like that, huh? Oh well, coercion/insanity plea it is. Even though I'm fairly sure she did do it out of interest, rather than being coerced by the Org. If I remember correctly, she has spoken of the formula in an admiring tone. Possibly when she first explained it to Conan, but I'm not sure.

This is something I'd never considered before. She could be charged for creating the drug, like others have said before me. But another way to think of it, is the inventor of guns liable to be prosecuted and convicted? Just because some people use it to kill others? Is creating the tool for murder a crime in itself?

My favourites would have to be Vermouth and Rye. Vermouth is intelligent, mysterious and I love how she still has some sense of honour despite being a cold-blooded killer. I like Rye for similar reasons. He is a great detective and to survive being hunted by the BO for so long is really admirable, imo.
