Well, I'm not sure that Sera took British habits from James but I agree with you on the fact that he took care of her. Two elements, the hotel where Sera live is paying by a friend more or less rich but not quite as Sonoko's family. James job's on the FBI make that he can afford it. Plus, where Conan didn't saw that Sera was a girl the first time he met her, despite his observations skills, James Black didn't hesitate about her gender. This could explain that Sera's dad was a great friend of Black on the FBI and died on duty but I think there is something more about him. This could imply that maybe James knows more than he's saying about the Mysterious Girl and the Organization. But its to soon to theorize about it yet.

I totally agree with you on the unknown child and I will even ad an argument for you. If you look at the unknown child's clothes you can see that she's wearing a kind of a striking turtleneck (I'm not sure about the file). It's pure English style maybe old but still it's english. And to get back to Amuro (I won't let go on this one XD), in the mystery train's file and even in Scarlet Showdown he's wearing an English coat from Victorian. Only in big confrontations between Conan and the Organization. All those families have a connection with England. Slights arguments to but I think it's Gosho style. And I just forgot something about Kuroda. He's only drinking black tea. Tea is part of English traditions. It could be a false trail intentionally set by Gosho but I have my doubts.

Well I'm still skeptical about the cousins love history. Country's culture I guess. But where I agree with you it's that whatever the 2 related families are, the children's don't know about it and I still feel there is something important about Amuro in this history. The flashback of him with supposedly Elena Miyano(?) when he was a kid are related I think. You should chek on the KudoProject, a French site with many interesting theories. One problem with this theory. Dont forget that Haibara's sister and Akai were romantically involved. If they were cousins it would be a bit creepy from Gosho I think. In my opinion Amuro could be related with Akai's family but it just my opinion. What's sure it is that the Miyano, Amuro and Akai's family are connected. How I don't exactly know yet but there is something to investigate here certainly implicating Rum also. It's just what I think.

I totally agree with Detective Max17 Kuroda has to be Rum. If is not (what I doubt) is at least connected to him. I have a huge theory about him I'm not the first to talk about. Until now we had Akai, Masumi, Shuukichi probably their brother's and the little girl maybe their mother (?) In this schema there is only one person missing: the father. Indeed I think Kuroda is Akai and Masumi's father. There is one element that weirdly appear on Kuroda only on the file 916. We can see bags under his eyes that didn't appear before. The fact is that both Akai and Masumi have those dark circles. Maybe by make them appear only now is a way to explain us that it's important. Last element, over the files there has been several elements maybe connecting Masumi with the UK and we have learn that Kuroda only drink black tea, a tradition in this country. I think it's highly unlikely. And about Yamato being Rum I agree with you he's probably not the guy but I think Rum true identity will be revealed quickly. In my opinion we're more in a Vermouth pattern without several suspects.

I can't stop thinking that Kuroda has similarities with Columbo the character played by Peter Falk like his fake eye or just his intelligence. I don't know maybe there's something to dig here!

I've noticed something huge about Kuroda in file 916 that tells me he could be Akai, Sera and possibly Shukiichi father. Look the wrinkle under his eye it's the same we can see under Akai eyes. It could implies that Papakai is RUM. Is the only one on the family we haven't seen so far and I think it's a possibility.
