"You doing this for a project or something?" Officer Holden asked. "If you really want to solve the mystery, I suggest you kids leave it to the police. We're quite capable. Still, I suppose it's no harm giving you public information..." Lily smiled. "No, we're not doing a project. We're just young kids taking an interest in solving mysteries and clearing a friend's name." She replied. Later when Inspector Sterling came out, he said: "Oh, it's you kids," he said, frowning as he looked at the group. "You're from the...the detective forum, right?" He sighed, running his fingers through his virtually nonexistent hair. "Do you have any questions or something? I could get someone to find you a psychologist if you're having trauma or something." Lily smiled. "Yes, we are from the DCW Forum. We don't need a psychologist, but as for questions....."

Lily looked at Misaki. "Umm.... Do you want me to ask the other questions instead?"

Lily breathed a sigh of relief as Misaki asked the questions. She had no idea what to say this time. I hope we don't get an order to stay out of this..... But this really feels like a Nancy Drew Mystery!

I can't wait! This has to just as good as the Lupin III and Detective Conan Special! (Although the Hakuba look-alike kinda threw me off at first....) I also think they should have done a Hayate no Gotoku and Detective Conan crossover special, too. They're in the same company and there have been a lot of Conan-related stuff there, too.

Lily walked into the police station. "Ummm..... Hello? Anyone there?"

"Oh yeah....." Lily thought about it. "Sure, let's go!" The group walked into the police station and found everyone else there, talking to Detective Caleb. "Hey, should we look for the Inspector instead?" Lily asked the group.

"Let's go with the same project plan, except change the subject from cars to the Rainmen Serial Murders. I don't want to make up different lies, because we might get them confused and they will probably see through it.... Any other ideas?" Lily said, turning to the group.

"Uhhh, don't go too far, Milan?" Lily said. She started waking out down the street and looked back. "Well, what are you waiting for?"

Continuation of the Continuation of the Continuation of the Continuation of Ch. 18 (A/N: Yeah, I know.) [shiki, you are an absolute liar. Even Maki figured it out.] "TELL ME THE TRUTH." I demanded. Shiki paled but kept shakin his head. "I swear I didn't!". I sighed. "Well, whatever. We have to go return the jewel, but first..." I went over to pick up the Sea Maiden and breathed condensation on it. (A/N: A reference from DC OVA 10: Kid on Trap Island. Kid explains a way to find out if a diamond is real or fake by breathing condensation on it. If it fades fast, it's real.) the fog immediately disappears, so Shiki took it from me and held it up to the moon. There was a flash, but nothing. I sighed a took the jewel back. "Let's go return it." We went downstairs to give the jewel back. After Shiki went back to Sonoko and Ran, while I stayed behind a took the card out: Senpai, Shiki told Conan and Heiji about our situation. He didn't include me, because we didn't meet yet. Meet me at Teitan Elementary beside the animal houses. Change into something less elegant. •~• Don't tell Shiki. We can't trust him. Make sure nobody follows us. -Maki I folded the note and went back to Ran and Sonoko. "I don't feel very well. I'm going back first." I said. "Huh?" Shiki said. "Awwww..... What about your prince and the dance?" Sonoko said and Shiki looked up. "What prince?" Sonoko smirked. "While you were infatuated with your beloved princess, Yuiki became a candidate for the wife of the crown prince of Hoseki." Shiki dead-panned. "What?" He said, eyes bugging out. I laughed nervously. "Anyways, I'm going. See you tomorrow." I started to walk off and Ran stopped me giving me her key so I can drop off the dress at her house. As I was heading to the entrance, Sonoko screamed at me. "DON'T FORGET TO TELL ME THE DETAILS ABOUT YOU AND PRINCE JOSHUA TOMORROW!" I cringed and walked faster. Suddenly a hand grabbed my arm and spun me around. "Yuiki-chan, where are you going?" A voice said. I looked up and saw Prince Josh. "Ah! Josh-kun! I have to go. Sorry." I pulled away quickly and ran off, ignoring the calls he gave me. I went into a taxi and ordered him to drive me home. I quickly changed and dropped off the dress I borrowed from Ran in her room and walked to Teitan Elementary. While walking, I thought. [Did Shiki talk to them about everything?] (Start Ch. 19, theownerer!)

I support ShinRan A-L-L T-H-E W-A-Y Although I wish the ending is that Conan is separated from Shinichi's conscious and he can end up with Ai-chan. (A little part of me wants me to click that button to vote for Ai-chan. I support ConAi too! A little bit)

"Yep, that's true." Lily agreed with Misaki. "We should hurry to the police station. Oh, and Milan, don't punish Rose, we'll just give her a large scale lecture."

The lychee tastes different almost everytime. (Depends if you pick it at different times) to me, the lychee has a mysterious flavour, sort of like Ai-chan herself, because you don't know what's inside.

After Rose left the room, Mr. James had started getting suspicious. Ohmigosh, Rose why? Lily mentally face-palmed herself for letting Rose walk off. "Sorry Mr. James, my partner has a way of words that make people uncomfortable. I think she meant that it would be nice to have his phone number so we can contact him for our project, but it's not nessecary. We just think it's for the best or just in case. In our class, everything must be detailed all the way to the tiniest part. It's really like running an investigation." Lily let off a small laugh to ease the tension. "We're sorry to bother you, and we must go. We might come back some other time." She walked out of the office along with the others. They walked back to return the pass...... And found Rose arguing with the secretary. (I think I dodged a bullet there....But someone tell me if I didn't.)

Lily looked at Rose. "The only reason I came up with the 'hiding stuff in the car' idea is because it's related to CARS. If we go with your idea, there isn't anything there that relates to cars. She walked with the group to the office. Rose and Milan talked to the manager and he sat back to listen to their questions. Wow, this is ACTUALLY working.... Lily thought. She walked up front. "Nice to meet you, Mr. James." She said, sticking out her hand shyly. "I'm from Seattle High and they are from Seattle University. We are working on a joint project in criminology regarding this business and the workers." Specifically Jennifer Starling, but how am I going to say it?

Yikes, I think I shouldn't have done that... Lily thought as she got that lecture from Rose. "Okay, okay.... I understand, but it's not strange for a couple of kids to ask about Jennifer Starling. After all, all I said was that we were from a local high school and university. If they ask, Warren is from the university because he's 19 and you and Milan are taking summer programs to prepare for university, since you're 18. Misaki and I are going to be 'taking' summer school, since we're 15. If they ask what subject we're studying, you, Milan and Warren are taking Criminology, while Misaki and I are taking the Crime unit in Science. The subject of our report is 'How people hide things in cars and not get caught'." (I know I got myself into a deeeeeep hole....)

This is kinda confusing....

The secretary looked really unhappy to see them. Lily coughed at pushed her way to the front. "Excuse me miss. Sorry about my classmates. We're from the local high school and university. We decided to do a combined project on transportation. Our teacher told us to do portion of our report here and he said that he was a close friend to...." Lily scanned the wall behind the secretary for a name in the company. "Mr. Tim James."

Lily looked up to Benford Industries. "Wao..... This is HUGE." She started to walk into the building, but then she turned around. "I've got two questions. 1. What does Benford Industries do? 2. How are we going to make those people spill their information?" I hope this goes well....

Lily turned to Warren. "That's a good idea. Who wants to go to Benford? I don't mind any." Lily turned to Jay. "We can do that, right?"

Lily walked into the restaurant and motioned the rest to follow. "I think it's better to eat first, then investigate." She sat down at one of the tables and ordered spaghetti. She waited for the others to choose, while looking around. She spotted Warren with the rest of the group. Hey! He came along too!

Lily ignored Milan's comment and climbed into the van. Her stomach growled at the thought of food. Maybe I'll grab a snack or two when we arrive there...

After Milan started ranting out all those questions, Lily held up a hand. "Wait! We shouldn't ask those question directly. They heard the name of the victims on the news, right? If they hear the names and they DO know something about them, they might not tell us. We should inconspicuously ask the questions while starting a conversation. We're trying to get info and at the same time not to get killed, right?" She reverted back to her shy self, and Jay handed we some bills. Lily refused again. Money wasn't a problem to her. Misaki spoke while they were going outside. "How are we getting to Benford industries? Do we have a car or something?" She asked. "That is the only question no one can answer but Jay." Rose said. "We should take the bus, it would be less attention-attracting." Lily suggested.

"I don't mind going, we're teammates now." Lily said shyly. Now for Misaki's answer.....

Lily answered the rest of the questions Rose asked patiently. "Warren's the person drinking the iced black coffee and Jay is..." Lily pointed to Jay, standing somewhere. If we include Warren or if he joins when we ask, there will be five of us. Should we ask Jay to join?

Lily smiled at Milan's answer and motioned him to follow her back to Misaki's chair. She announced that Milan was part of the group and she waited for Misaki's answer to her request to join. When Misaki was still thinking, Lily looked around to see if more people had no group. The more, the better... She thought. Lily spotted Warren alone and asked the group: "Should we invite him too? I heard he was good at physical stuff, maybe he could help us if we ever got attacked.... Plus, he seems lonely..." She trailed off. Wait.... Why am I not shy now?
