I also couldn't type Chinese characters b4I don't know if you can do it on your computer, but on mine (I use Windows Vista) here's how I do it: Go to Cotrol Panel > Clock, Language, and Region > Chage Keyboards or other imput methods > Keyboards and languages > Change keyboards > General > Add....

*And choose the language you want
