Fist of all, I wasn't sure whether or not to put this in the Anime section. I thought it might be considered spoilers, so I put it here. If this needs to be moved, please do so. Anyways, I was wondering, when will Sera appear in the anime? I was thinking maybe they'd kick off the new year with her debut, but with all the anime originals and Magic Kaito airing recently, it's looking like it might be later. So..... What do you think?

I watched the introduction of the movie and not much else in order to avoid spoiling myself too much. All I can say is, this movie has the the most insane Detective Conan movie opening sequence ever.

Well, I found this on Anime News Network. The article was about the audience that went to watch the Movie 12: Full Score of Fear in its opening weekend: "About 70% of the audience was female. Teenagers made up the largest segment of the audience, followed by people in their 30s and then people in their 20s." Here's the Link

So, I was wondering what exactly is Detective Conan's target audience in Japan? I know in America it would generally be rated PG13 because of the blood, drugs, and violence, but what about Japan? The guns, killing, blood, and suicide don't exactly look child-friendly to me, but other things, like the Detective Boys and lack of adult themes, keep Detective Conan from being an adult show. So, is it something like a family show in Japan? I'm sure there are a lot of concepts a younger audience wouldn't understand. Oh, and do the manga and anime have different target audiences? I've noticed the anime censors graphic scenes in the manga (Episode 1, for example).

Movie 13 would be nice to see canon. Yeah, it's a little flawed, but it's probably the best choice. Irish dies in the end, so him finding out Conan's identity isn't a problem. Probably the biggest problem with this movie becoming cannon is how unlikely the BO would take a military helicopter and shoot up Touto Tower .

I liked all the movies, so I can't pick a favorite. However, my least favorite one is probably Movie 3: Wizard of the Last Century. The movie is pretty good, but compared to the others it's not that great. It had a great soundtrack, though.
