Hopeless Romantic At A Dead End. There is a moment in most of our lives where we learn that our journey in finding true love is tougher then we ever imagined it to be. We learn that the smile when thinking of someone special could easily be replaced with tears rolling down our faces. Those butterflies in our stomach could change to to a feeling of emptiness and loneliness. And we feel that incredible moment of our hearts skipping a beat turn into that painful experience of our heart shattering into a million pieces. We become hopeless romantics at a dead end convinced that we would never love again. We grow cynical of the idea of love for how could we of been so certain of finding ‘the one’ only to made looked like a fool. And as much as we want to get over the one who left us broken, the truth is that they remain part of our lives because it feels like they have taken part of our hearts with them. Even when we try to move on, we realize how much harder it is to love someone and trust that they won’t hurt you. In the end, seems so much easier to give up on love all together.But don’t give up on love. I’m not saying that it will be easier the next time around. I’m not saying that you won’t put compare everyone you date to the one you lost. And I’m not going say that you never going to get hurt again. But as hard as it is to believe right now, there is someone out there in this crazy world of ours that will make it easier to love again. There is someone who will be the one who fills in that missing void in your heart, bring back that missing hope that you thought was forever lost, and will give be the reason to believe in love again. This person will make you realize why past worked out the way it did. There is a stranger out there that should be your reason to keep a firm grasp in the belief of love, even when it seems to dangerous to do so. - Adam Bautista
