Saw Les Miserables today... The Javer and Eponine were good, possibly the best Javer I've seen. Marius and Jean..... couldn't sing --

@ Aka-chan: Eponine was played by Samantha Barks, who performed the role on stage in the 25th anniversary concert.
@: Kyuu: Jackman sang-spoke a lot of the time... I still really don't like Marius... And Javert I liked because his voice was even and powerful, which fit the character. I prefer Alfie Boe as Jean Valjean.

He had the lead role, not everything could be singing. Alfie Boe was superior. My favorite is actually the broadway cast from 10 years ago when I saw it live. Javiert also spoke a lot of the time too, so that isn't really fair, considering his much smaller role.
@Ezra: Nope, but I've taken enough music theory classes to know pitch and tonality
