I've had a few users try to contact me directly through personal messages about spammers or simply post in a thread about them. This doesn't work very well and means it takes longer for me to realize there is a problem. The way the moderating system is set up, if you use the report option, all the moderators get a bright red warning with links to the thread and user that needs moderation and a description of why. If you message me individually, it looks like every other ordinary message. If you post about the spammers in a thread, I get no warning at all. So please, please, please, please use the report button in the lower right hand part of the post. Also, don't assume somebody else has already reported the problem correctly and wait for it to go away! In that last batch of 50 magic spams, I had absolutely no regular reports, just one person contacting by private message and a few wall posts. I didn't see those until much too late. Also, this advice goes for any sort of problem. Weird or suspicious posts? Use the reporting system. Want a mod to delete your accidental double post? Use the reporting system. It lets all the moderators know there is something that should be done all at once.

It has been confirmed that Chico with Honeyworks will sing MK1412's new opening for the second cour and Galileo Galilei will sing the new ending. Believe it or not, I'm looking forward to what these bands will make. Though I've never watched Ao Haru Ride, I've heard the opening and Chico did a pretty awesome job on it. I'm also familiar with Galileo Galilei from physics class Anohana's opening and I like his voice. They better not disappoint. I apologize if it seems like I rarely come here. I don't know about the other mods, but I actually check on this site on a daily basis (even if only for some minutes) to make sure that there's nothing out of ordinary. However, I don't usually log in unless I really have something important to do because most of the mod duties can be performed without the need to do so. And when I do, I also sign in anonymously at times for various reasons so many may not notice my appearance here. From now on, I'll try to log in more often in case someone needs to contact me (but again, please use the report button when possible ), and won't go anonymous unless strictly necessary. With that said, in order to prevent the problems discussed in this thread more effectively, we'd still need the collective effort from every member in the community. Like Chek has said, we're pretty much blind and powerless to everything that happens outside of this site; and even within DCW, we're not exactly omnipotent either. While we aim to protect DCW and its members as much as we can, we can't achieve that goal unless you can be on guard to watch out for yourself or those close to you.
