I would guess that the relationship between the boss and Vermouth is a bad one. -Vermouth repeatedly let go of conan who she believes would bring the destruction of the organization, implying that she views Conan's safety higher than that of the boss' -At New York she said that no angel has ever smiled upon her, back then she dressed up as a serial killer which means she was already part of the organization and meet the boss, but didnt consider the boss her "angel" This brings me to think that the boss values Vermouth while Vermouth doesnt value the boss.

Hello everyone! As you could have seen, the website has been down for the past few days. We've run into some issues and had to change host. As you probably noticed as well, the Watch section is currently unavailable. It seems that the site was becoming a little too "popular" for the "important" people and a DMCA was filed to our host regarding DCW. It seems that even though the videos are hosted on Youtube, the fact that we're linking to them on the site is enough to shout copyright infringement... Which is really odd judging by the activities of many popular anime and drama sites who openly embed 100x more videos! (including DC ones). My guess is that the site was ranking really well in Google (maybe too well?) and was attracting a lot of fans. If it was not that popular, I'm pretty sure we would not have had any issues to date. Therefore, I regret to inform you that the Watch section will be unavailable until further notice. I hope we can come up with a working solution in the future but I cannot promise anything at this time. I do believe that the Wiki is still one of the main features of DCW and as long as this stays, DCW will remain true to its goal of becoming the ultimate DC resource on the net! And I will keep working as hard as I can on improving and turning this site into a true DC reference and a great place for DC fans to hang out! I understand if you wish to stop supporting the site now that there are no more videos to watch but we will still always appreciate any support you wish to provide. You're more than welcome to stick around with us and show how big and strong the DC community can really be. The wiki, although far from complete, is right now the most comprehensive and complete library there is on the net about DC. We, at DCW, are really proud of how it turned out and that's definitely something big and worth sticking around for. And the more contributors, the merrier! To finish, I plan to add more features to the site in the future. So, watch out for them. ^^ I thank you all for your patience and support! A DC fan at heart, Maurice

I think you are taking the angel thing a bit too far. It's risky to assume it means that one thing. It could mean heaven has never cut her a break, her life has been misfortunate. I don't think the daughter even exists. Chris was a fabrication from the start according to fingerprint data and Akai's, Jodie's, and Conan's deductions. Vermouth told that falling-out story to Yukiko to explain why Chris doesn't appear with Sharon - they can't. The last point you bring up is one of the reasons why I think your hostage explanation doesn't make sense. If Vermouth was held hostage, she would be angry at the boss and everyone in the Org, and could use her talent to give hints to the FBI and police and severely damage the Organization. It's not like the boss is omniscient; with the right kind of plan, Vermouth could keep these plots from being traced back to her. I don't think the boss would ever trust someone held hostage with as much trust and leeway to do things on her own as he gives Vermouth. That would not be prudent. The fact Vermouth wants the Organization to end, but doesn't seem to support the FBI or CIA doing the job, and isn't using her full strength to undermine it herself suggests she is held hostage by her own conscience. There is someone (like the boss or her close Org friends) she feels she can't betray even though she feels the right choice is to end the Organization. She heaps her plans and hopes on Conan because he has some virtue she thinks will guide him to end the Organization the way she wants it done.

http://amataroujr.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-167.html So this latest link makes a report that goes 2–1 in favor of the people saying that Anokata appeared a long time ago and also recently. I still trust the Twitter girl more though, it sounds ridiculous that he appeared recently as well… Anyway, everything written here seems to have been said in previous posts already. Only thing of “note” other than the above is, that the one shocked about princess Mila’s bust size might’ve been Gōshō rather than Ran herself, it might’ve been something someone other than Gōshō threw into the story and Gōshō considers Ran as one of the biggest in terms of bust size, so he was shocked. Not really sure which interpretation is correct though.

^http://sky969blue6261.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-81.html Wow that link sure had lots of stuff. Some interesting stuff too I think; it took me quite a long time to go through it all so I may even have some inconsistencies between format at the start and at the end of the translation, but please bear with it. About the image with the green background, I’ve tried to read it but I’m bad with kanji and I can’t do it without an instant dictionary (I have it for plain text, not images).
