Bourbon, who need this ability badly, don't use it either. And everyone will ask why a kid nicknamed someone red mean that guy is another person with the name Red, who 'v been recently shot dead. That's "Red guy" alone is not a prove. There're many more like his handiness, his fondness of Bourbon. His BO aura. His similar expression. etc. It's easy to say once the result is revealed. try deduction showdown whit someone in DCW instead and see if you can beat them (I would name names those scary smart people but I can't get them involve without consent) OK, the car is not a Porsche nor black. Those two people above may not yet the head of Bandai by the time Gosho wrote the chapter and he won't know they will be the head now. What if in the future Bandai changes their CEOs again. What Gosho would do? accuse the then CEOs to be the boss? Mystery story should have definite answer, not change upon company staff names. If I going to use something outside DC manga to help build a theory I would use Gundam, not Bandai. BTW Chek-san. an episode I’ve found on YT translates her as saying “18, only one year older than you”; which would be correct with what we have on the wiki so far (Shin’ichi being 16 at the start, but turning 17 soon after) sadly I can’t hear what Haibara says there so I’m not sure how precise the translation is… in the manga, it’s translated as “18, a perfect match with you” or something like that; but I can’t find a raw to check the original Japanese… edit: the episode in question edit2: ^after asking some Japanese people, they’ve told me that it’s “お似合い”, which means “a perfect match”; so I’m guessing the manga translation is actually the accurate one… which is weird because why would she say that she’s a good match if she’s supposedly 1 year older? >_<
