Hello, everyone. I have migrated here from DCTP where I was best known for very extensive theories about the plot of Detective Conan and attempts at solving the mystery of the week/month. Yeah, Conan lives in Comic Book Time. However, if you want to be logical about it, Kosagi no Legion once marked out a timeline based on the seasons that are drawn in the background and discovered that literally a decade had gone by. Gosho is also quoted as stating he draws what ever season is outside his window. In volume 62 files 5-10, 'The Return' story arc, (Case #188) the case they're revisiting in Okuho-cho is one of the last ones he had before he was shrunk, 'a year ago'. Calculating in that in the manga alone, he's done over 220 cases, that's 3-4 cases a week! He'd never have time for school, much less anything else!

It seems to me that Sato was never in love with Shiratori at any time. This is probably why, for instance, she never accepted Shiratori's offers to dine out at high-scale restaurants. Additionally, during Sato's forced marriage, she acknowledged how important Takagi was to her just moments before she was about to kiss Shiratori (which, as we all know, was interrupted at the last minute). The only time Sato actually loved someone else was during episodes 301-302 and 304, when she fell in love with Matsuda, but Matsuda died during the apartment bombing case. I think this is part of the reason why, after breaking up with Takagi in 302, Sato had to take up Takagi once again by the end of 304.
